  1. Yeah, I had to quit the good stuff. Although I'm not looking for a huge amount for it or anything. The cover has some wear on it and there are a couple of very light scuffs on the vinyl (doesn't affect play whatsoever, but then again, weed makes everything sound better and Bongzilla is no exception )
  2. This shelf was built by my girlfriend's grandfather for her father. Apparently it was supposed to be for a fishtank but ended up being the perfect size for records. Also, those huge assed speakers are from the 1970's (again, her dad's) and they weigh something like 75lbs each. They look cool as hell though. Also, note the Vinyl Killer van next to the record player. Google it if you don't know what it is.
  3. Some extra stuff I wouldn't mind clearing out. Sale only (I need the cash for my upcoming roadtrip). 7" Against Me! - Cavalier Eternal (clear blue) Against Me! - The Disco Before the Breakdown (black) Against Me! - Sink Florida Sink (light blue/white marbled) Fifth Hour Hero - You Have Hurt My Business... (purple) Lifetime - Two Songs (black) 12" Bongzilla - Apogee (black) Denali - The Instinct (white/grey marbled) PM offers. Also, shipping is going to be EXACT cost. Since I live in Canada, this means no more than $5 per 7" and up to $12 per 12" (sucks, but sadly true), so please keep this in mind when making an offer. Gracias.
  4. Strange. The copy I have is mostly white with a tiny bit of grey. Maybe just a weird one-off pressing or maybe all the white ones have a bit of grey...
  5. Anyone here from Austin Texas? I'm going to be there on the 25th and was wondering if there were any good ones around. So far I found Sound On Sound and Waterloo on the net. Help anyone?
  6. My friend/ex-roommate/ex-band member drew the cover for the first 7". I wish I could get my hands on a copy for that reason alone.
  7. I am looking for any Nomeansno 12"s or 7"s that I don't have. Also, any Hanson Brothers vinyl too! I don't really have much to trade right now, so expect buying and selling. Shoot me what you have and what you want. Thanks! I am looking for Nomeansno: The Day Everything Became Nothing - 12" EP You Kill Me - 12" EP The Power of Positive Thinking -12" EP Would we be alive ? - 12" EP In the fishtank vol.1 -12" Mama - LP (haha, yeah right!) Wrong- LP Live and Cuddly - Double LP Why Do They Call Me Mr. Happy?- LP Dance of the Headless Bourgeoisie LP Any 7" Hanson Brothers: Sudden death - LP My game. - LP Any 7"
  8. As for large Canadian distros... Scratch Records has a cool store tucked away in downtown Vancouver, but their online service is shite. They only have about a million records that are out of stock listed. One of life's greatest disappointments is thinking you found something cool and rare only to have it yanked away from you. I think the past five times I've done an order from them have all been like this. Also, Sonic Unyon. My gf ordered from them and had no problem, but according to their website, my order made in mid-November still hasn't shipped and no one has responded to any of my emails.
  9. I used to work for Canada Post. If anyone saw what happened behind the scenes - regardless of how a record was packed - it would make you sick to your stomach.
  10. Going to Moose Jaw is a low point, no matter what day it is
  11. Lazy Sundays just got better. Canada Post is now on extended Xmas hours and I just got a package of whip-ass records in the mail today! No more waiting for Mondays anymore. (Plus I haven't had or needed a job in two months so everyday is lazy Sunday).
  12. Doomriders - Black Thunder 12" Bongzilla - Apogee 12" - got them both at my local store for $30 for the pair.
  13. There was a band called Inquisition from Calgary, AB, Canada who are long broken up. They were actually pretty good, playing a fairly straight forward kind of punk rock with rad vocals. Their vinyl releases are that split 7" with The Everymen and they also did a 10" entitled "Red" (incidentally, there was a store in Calgary last summer called Melodiya that was selling "Red" for $1).
  14. Having said that, what do people use to clean their records (if anything)?
  15. My copy of Death From Above (pre-1979) - Heads Up! on clear vinyl, limited to 200, on Ache. I bought this from Andy Ache the day it came out (and way before this band made it big).
