Hey everyone, I'm taking a 2 week class in between semesters in London, England. I know this is probably a long shot but does anyone know of any good stores for vinyl here? I was hoping I could find some kind of small place with some soon to be "imported" vinyl! Any help is very appreciated! Thanks in advance for the help!

all the pieces that join in the middle are just solid pieces with slits cut out of them so they slide together. they don't have any glue or nails or anything attaching them. then the outside pieces are screwed into the middle ones. gotcha...thanks man. thats awesome

looks awesome! i'm not all to smart in the carpentry world...so for the shelves did you put a rest to hold under each one, or did you fasten each one in place? i'm moving soon and will have some room. i'd love to attempt to put something together.

so does anyone know of any sites that are good to find out about shows in the NYC region? I know theres brooklynvegan but its 95% not of interest to me. I can only seem to find "indie" type stuff around here. Is there any punk/hardcore going on in this place?

ok very disappointing. i've always loved the man in black and with people like chuck ragan and the gaslight anthem i was sold. Chuck wasn't bad. Gaslight left a lot to be desired. It kinda felt thrown together. Still though there were a few good tunes...Ben Nichols, OnGuard might be my favorite, Casey Jams Prestwood, and the Flatliners...at least as far as I am concerned.

I have the B&T split back at my parents. I spun it once and it was pretty good stuff. I think it was black though I'm sad to say I'm not 100% on. I really need t o get that Attack Vipers...if anyone else has an extra copy of this I'd love to get one.

i'm a full time student and interning part time. it's nice...but i got more free time than i should. also i should really find a way to make some money.

well my first order is getting myself one. but i'll see what i can do... fortunately they are here in NYC for CMJ. it's a nice touch because it is mostly mediocre indie bands from what i've been seeing.

it looks like tomorrow i'm finally going to get to see the bronx. i'm stoked. they're a great band and i've heard some excellent reports of their live show. anyone out there see them recently? just curious of what might be on the set list! thanks for any input.

Generation has a great selection...if you go into Greenpoint check out Permanent Records - it's a smaller store but they got some good indie type stuff. and they got a boat load of 99 cent cds which isn't too bad to look through.

put all the blackout pact on vinyl. that album was mind-blowingly good for me. i came in late to a bear vs shark show once and only got to catch something like one of their songs. punknews said there is going to be a tour as well...is that true? i'd love to get another chance.

i honestly don't think there is a damn thing you can do. i sold to two people in the past year that "didn't get it". one got the item about 2 1/2 months later. what can you do if the mail system is messed up... wish i had some advice, but i just tried to tell them to hang on and if they seriously didn't get the item - they probably would soon.

i really would like to goto this. the fire still burns is great and i never got to see them live yet. anyone know a good way to get there from nyc without a car?
