  1. fat mike walked right past me and i didn't even realize it was him until he went by a 2nd time and my friend noticed. i saw him sitting behind us during alkaline trio but he jetted before they were done. was kinda hoping to meet the guy. rise against may not put out as great records as they used to, but they still know how to put a good live show. AND that was my first time seeing the gaslight anthem...shit talk about a long wait. finally after a year. they were superb and as good as i could imagine.
  2. Okay then, NYC show was as such: Tim's set: Dog Bumped On and On Exit Wounds Wait at Milano Avoiding Catatonic Surrender Church Of Level Track Ben's set (I don't remember all of them, this is what I do remember): Nights Like These Across the River Joining the Army Kiss The Bottle Slow Dancing Chuck's set: Between the Lines Don't Cry It's What You Will song from Bristle Ridge Bleeder (!!!) HWM song, don't remember which offhand (someone help me out) Geraldine California Burritos The Boat Beginning of the show, whole band did "Shoulda Oughta" (Tim Barry), "Do You Pray" (Chuck Ragan), a Ben Nichols/Lucero song that I don't remember and a cover of "Wild In the Streets". End of the show they did "Idle Idylist" (Barry), Ben Nichols/Lucero song I don't remember, a cover of "Walk On the Wild Side" with Jesse Malin, and ended the show with a song they had just recorded and wrote about the tour. Malin also did the Hold Steady cover. Fucking awesome. the hwm song was god deciding. wild in the streets was with garland jeffreys the man who wrote it i believe or at least the one who record the original.

  11. well just got off the phone with my mom. got an acceptance letter from NYU! (i don't know if some of you might remember a while back me talking about it and writing the essays) they accepted me to their music business masters program. my one friend/bandmate is there now and they look l ike 5 or 6 people last year. i'm freaking out cause i finally got slightly settled into my current life and job and got a great gf in the area. but now i gotta make a major life changing decision by the end of the month. unfortunately it all is on $ since i have none. so we shall see! i just had to share with someone!

  13. hey everyone - i desperately need a copy of the blackout pact. this band was fucking great and i only know a majority of their stuff. if you got anything with their name on it, pm me with what it is and the price (ppd)you are looking for. ...or if you are interested in trading i got that huge list of vintage 45s. thanks!

  17. Yes I know I have a Queen single or two, but where they are is of no idea to me at this point. I'll try to get through these boxes as quick as possible and update as I do!
  18. that's all of them for now... Ok so here's the deal...as some of you know I bought like 6-700 old 45s a while back. Now i'm slowly parting out the collection. Most of the stuff is from the late 50's to the late 70's. Here is a start of a list of stuff for sale. It goes Artist - Song 1/Song 2 - Label - Condition. Grading overview goes something like this... G - a lot of marking or some heavier marks that might/prob will affect play - heavy writing or label loss VG - has some marks that could affect play, some writing or label wear VG+ - very few marks, looks great NM - looks almost perfect What I'm thinking for prices is (for US, if outside US contact me)... VG+ - NM - $0.75 VG - $0.50 G or less - $0.25 Shipping is... $2.50 for first record and $0.25 for each additional If you are interested PM me and I'll give you a total and a paypal or snail mail address to send payment. ALSO if you are just looking for something random I'll offer you 30 random records (of various grades, but I'll definitely send you some quality stuff) sent via Priority Mail for $15.00! that'd only be $0.50/record PPD If no one is interested, I'll stop updating the list. I'll try to add more tomorrow. If there is anything specific you are looking for PM me.
