Admittedly, my copy has not arrived, but I listened to the hi-res version today and the recording, mix, etc. sounded fine. I'm not saying it sounded great, but I'm a diehard fan and have accepted that we will probably never get another high production value recording. Polish has never really been a part of their sound. We got polish with Handwritten and Get Hurt, but their productions were likely influenced by Island/big label factors.

Well shit, this has me concerned. I'm still waiting for my black 180g version, and was waiting to listen for the first time on vinyl 😰

Sounds like he potentially did. I got the yellow and black splatter and it sounds fine, like everyone said. Just fine, not great.

I have an OG press white vinyl, so I have not opened this repress. If it sounds the same/similar, perhaps I leave it sealed...

It definitely is, or maybe more accurately, it's now mixed. I wouldn't be surprised if the original release was unmixed given how out of control the bass was. It sounds amazing now. I've spun my Apple Green with White Splatter copy 3 times already.

RevHQ got them out pretty early. Thankful for that. I like this record better then Richness.

I'm a fan. I don't know what all the variants are yet, but I bought the Epitaph marbled.

Self-titled and Ivy were amazing. The few songs that have come out since those LPs have been meh, unfortunately.
