  1. I ordered that Siamese Dream / Gish combo from popmarket last November. They kept pushing the date out and eventually just canceled my order last week. The customer service isn't very good either. Every time I enquired about my order they said they'd have to escalate it and I'd never hear back again. YMMV.
  2. I ordered YPAA on Saturday the 1st and got a shipped notice from PayPal on Sunday the 2nd. No tracking number or anything.
  3. That's the way I read it. Also, once everything is installed and running, I'd boot your old computer into FireWire disk mode and connect it to your new computer. It will be way faster than copying over the network. You can even use migration assistant on the new computer to copy your entire user over to the new computer.
  4. Here is another way to get you 1TB up and running. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4718 Then you could just migrate directly from the 160.
  5. It might not be that simple. How do you plan on backing up the 500 to the 160? You will more than likely need a full bootable clone to restore to the 1TB once it is installed in the new computer. The easiest way to accomplish this is with an external hard drive (or an empty hard drive enclosure to install the 1TB in temporarily). In fact, if you were to get an enclosure, you could install the 500GB drive into it when you are through and use it for extra storage.
  6. Are you guys holding down the shift key when refreshing? It clears the cache and loads from scratch. It helps.
  7. These are still available. Try holding down your shift key when you refresh...
  8. You can actually take that one up to 16GB if you wanted to. OtherWorld Computing even has great videos of the process of installing it. http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/Apple_MacBook_MacBook_Pro/Upgrade/DDR3_1600MHz_SDRAM

  10. I've been watching eBay for this for a while. Happily ordered.
  11. Sounds like my experience. I actually left because I didn't want to deal with it. Went to another store and everything was pretty well picked over already. There were a few cool people at the front of the crowd that were calling out titles and passing them back to people that couldn't get near the bins. A relatively civil crowd. I'm going to hit up a few stores later when the crowds die out and see if there is anything worth while left over.
  12. He mentioned he had about 300 of YPAA in an article on smilepolitely a while back. http://www.smilepolitely.com/music/we_need_it_more_than_they_do/
  13. Update, Saturday, March 30… Orders from round two (sunday, March 24) are shipping today through wednesday. After those are all shipped I’ll post here for the next opportunity to purchase. Again, another 50 or so of each record will be available. Happy Easter! http://www.earthanalogrecords.com/hum-vinyl/
  14. Both are gone now. If he put up 50 this time around, that leaves about 200 or so copies of YPAA and 25 or so of Electra.... Gonna have to be on the ball next time.
  15. Got an Electra, but no YPAA. Gonna keep trying until it says sold out. Maybe I'll get lucky.
  16. Damn that Electra is nice. I wish he'd just put the rest if these up and get it over with.
  17. I hope I'm able to get my hands on these next time around. They'll fill the hole in my collection nicely.
  18. I've been sending them emails every few weeks and they just keep pushing the date back. Not sure what's happening there. I only bought these because it was a pretty great deal, if I eventually get them fine, if not fine too. I just don't understand the business model.
  19. I'm still waiting on my order for the Gish and Siamese Dream deluxe CDs I ordered from them back in November.
  20. My guess is that they haven't shipped yet. This is a slow moving train here. The original intent was to have these ready last Thanksgiving, but we know how that went.
