I've been trolling eBay for this for a while and finally scored a decent copy last year for about $60 (including shipping). Still a little more than what I wanted to spend, but I'm glad I got it now.

Thats what I thought too, but my local store told me the color was discontinued. The last time I was at the store, there was no stock of any besta product in that color, but I just checked online and they definitely have stock now. Who knows what is really going on.

I liked the Besta because it was more configurable. I've still got to sort out my 7" situation and I have two drawers for the bottom that I need to install. Overall, it's worked out good so far.

I went the Ikea route, but chose Besta instead of Expedit. I just added the top shelf for my expanding collection. Hopefully this lasts a little while because Ikea discontinued this particular color.

Well, that went fast. Was there anything preventing people from actually checking out with more than one copy or is this something Matt is going to have to sort out afterwards?

Really, the backlash should be towards the record label that transferred this license to SRC full well knowing that the previous licensee screwed a bunch of people over.

Does anybody know if there is a relationship between SRC and RJ on this (or any of his other releases that SRC picked up on). I'd imagine not, but if RJ were to get even one penny from the this, it'd be BS. I would like to get this, but I'm already $39 into it and the $5 offering is a mere slap in the face. I'm going to pass. The silver lining is that if I were to get it, I'd be able to post in the "What's the most you've ever spent" thread.

I recently picked one up for use with my iMac and it is pretty great once you learn all the guestures. I barely use the mouse at all any more. Only for the few precision tasks I come across. I would like to see a wired version. Wireless is not necessary for my desktop machine, but battery life is pretty good. My rechargeables last at least 4 weeks of daily use (~2 hours/day).

This is right on. The LED's might be interesting to check out.

I've got a copy of this on black. If I remember correctly, when I pre-ordered from polyvinyl, black or red were the only choices.

It's ironic that RJ is immortalized in the dead wax.

I placed my order for this 1 year ago yesterday.... Happy Anniversary! I've had two orders with RJ and both were botched. Great business model. I wonder if we'll ever hear from him again?

I happened by a Hot Topic in Portland, OR yesterday and saw one one the shelf. I went back an hour or so later and it was gone. Luckily, I asked the clerk about it because they had another copy hiding in a drawer under the display. Keep looking. They are still around.
