  1. Hey all, This year was one of the busiest in twelve gauge history which also made it the most expensive. I'm looking to raise some label funds and sell off any extras in my collection. Going to try to avoid eBay and excess platform fees so doing this old school. I put together a spreadsheet, if you're interested in any you can make an offer to [email protected]. I'll look through them and get back to folks this time next week. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1V4oFyTFeLb4WzQ011i3z88wxTpjlyRv5AdtT3u0b9TI/edit#gid=0 Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

  3. This thread is great and I now realize I've missed out on a lot of great discussion having not been a regular on this message board.
  4. Sorry to be clear: when you order the 12", it will offer you a shirt at a discounted rate. Sorry for not making that clear and the somewhat backwards way of doing it. Hope it works, let me know if it doesnt.
  5. yep. just put one aside. if you order, make a note and I'll send it out.
  6. Pretty sure I have all colors available but didn't have time to check and enter on the derails. You can either wait for me to do that over the next week or tell me which color you want and I'll find it.
  7. Yo I nag STZ all the damn time!! We need to show up at their doors and kidnap them to make it happen. Eric is a country/bluegrass star, cody rules, Jason works his ass off, JY is waiting for baseball and Blaine is a lawyer. Anyway long story short yes we need HP4 god damn it. Nervous -- soooo good!! 9. I'm really bummed to hear about some being warped and I'm unsure where along the process it happened. The records did get screen printed though and wonder if something went wrong there. If you're fine with it, thanks for being understanding. These records were a bit of a nightmare to release as the pressing plant was difficult to work with, then a little bit of a logistical nightmare getting them screen printed, and shipped back to SF in time to get packaged up. I can tell you I worked my ass off between this record, 2 other releases on my other label, and my full-time job. Jihad
  10. All 3 songs on bandcamp now! Pre-orders are kinda shipping already. I shipped out all the ones with No Sir LPs and will be shipping everything else over the next week. Tons of packing to do, I'm spending every free minute doing it.
  11. Email me [email protected] If you bought from hellfish, forward the invoice. If from Family Drugs, I got you.

  13. This is it! Their debut is an LP haha I really love this record from beginning to end. Can't wait for everyone to hear it in it's entirety.
  14. Hot on the heels of No Sir's The Future Is Bright, Twelve Gauge Records presents its next home run: the self-titled debut album by Nervous, out September 24th. From Oakland, California, Nervous consists of frontman Jake Spek (Loma Prieta, Lewd Acts) and drummer Jacob Harris (Big Kids, Acid Fast). Best friends and co-pilots of Oakland DIY venue The Hive, Spek and Harris have announced Nervous to be their new priority. This is no side project, this is a real band with its own sound. There's something of a Nirvana vibe with Nervous - or, more accurately, Nervous is inspired by many of the same bands Kurt Cobain espoused: Wipers, Pixies, The Jesus Lizard. Spek and Harris take these inspirations and twist them into anxiety-ridden California punk anthems. Spek's unhinged vocals are an absolute standout, something like David Yow in a really fired-up mood. His lyrics address true everyday struggles of the broke, lazy, and intelligent, and honesty seeps through his every word. When he sings about being depressed, it's not depressing - on the contrary, he pulls you right in and makes you want to shout along, and you're left applauding him for having the courage to be so real. From the album's opening track, "Good Morning": "Absolutely no sense of urgency / Not going to work, that is a certainty / I don't want to hang out, that shit is boring / I got a cut on my leg that won't stop bleeding / I think that I'm decomposing." Stream "Good Morning" on Cvlt Nation! Pre-order 12"LP on Hellfish Recorded and mixed by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Loma Prieta) and mastered by Alan Douches (Converge and so many more), Nervous' self-titled debut sounds clear and rich, rock-solid and rocking. The tracklist is as follows: 1) Good Morning 2) Cog in the Machine 3) Day Off 4) Perfection 5) Home 6) Birthday Party 7) Satire About a Vampire 8) Vulture 9) Hungry 10) Can't Feel a Thing Nervous will take its show on the road for the first time this fall, with plans to hit the full US. Live, Spek and Harris will be joined by a touring bassist, replacing Jon Schmitt (Beau Navire) who played on the record.

  21. Hi all, I'm very excited to share 4 projects I'm currently working on and that you can expect before the end of the year: First, another collaboration with Holy Roar Records from the UK along with Daggers (Belgium). Daggers hails from Brussels with a dark, metallic sound. They've wrecked several stages all over Europe and have now recorded their new full length "Euphoria" with Ben Phillips at Lightship95 in London. Euphoria 12"LP will be in stores on November 8, 2011 in U.S./Canada/Mexico and available via all digital outlets. Fatal Birth: San Francisco based three-piece. Influences ranging from early power violence, first wave US death metal, darkened hardcore/punk, and doom metal. Recorded to analog tape then mix and mastered by Jack Shirley (Comadre, Skin Like Iron, Neo Cons) at The Atomic Garden Studio in one day. Harsh unadulterated dissonance. Co-released by T.B.H./S.F. Release Date: 11/15/11 Creatures needs no introduction. They have been at it for a few years and have released records with Closed Casket Activities, Hellfish and Eulogy. Their Twelve Gauge debut, Vesuvius, will be a 180-gram 12"LP and is expected in late November. Vesuvius was recorded by Jack Shirley at The Atomic Garden and will be mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music. The band will support the release with a couple of short tours around the U.S. No Sir & Family Drugs Family Drugs is a joint venture between Sam Pura (The Panda Studios), who has engineered numerous Twelve Gauge releases including the last 6 Sabertooth Zombie records, and myself. It's a record label collective of music from various genres and friends of ours. We already have our first 3 releases lined up starting with No Sir. No Sir is an aggressive hardcore band from the North Bay and features members of Sabertooth Zombie, All Teeth, Strike To Survive and Not To Reason Why. Their 5-song EP, Holy Land, is now in production and is expected to be released in late November. Visit http://familydrugs.org for more. It's been a really busy year for the label and am very excited to get these releases out to you and get Family Drugs rolling. Pre-orders for all 4 releases can be expected in the coming few weeks. BTW, Twelve Gauge will be 7 years old on October 1st, 2011.
