guy at my local shop is trying to sway me to a grado silver 2 cartridge instead of a 2M Blue. thoughts?

Yea I know if you just go to the 2M blue from red, you can swap out just the stylus. Once you go Bronze or Black you need to swap the entire cartridge.

Over the last month I've really caught the upgrade bug and my wallet is paying for it. I just recently purchased a Cambridge CXA80 amp and CXN (V2) streamer (connected with AudioQuest McKenzie XLR cables. )They power my Monitor Audio RX8s. Sounds amazing. Now I'm thinking about making a change to my turntable, phono preamp, or stylus. Currently I have the Project Debut Carbon 2M red Orphon. The needle has way too many hours on it at this point. Atleast 700 hours. My phono preamp is a cambridge azur 551p. My questions are, with my set up is it worth going to 2M bronze? I've read the project debut carbon doesnt really benefit past the 2M blue. Also, would consider upgrading my phono stage to something better. Just cant afford to spend more than $500. Am I better of going bronze and keeping my phono, or going 2M blue and using rest for a better phono? Last question, what exactly is the point of the acrylic plaster benefits and is it worth the $100?

Can anyone suggest a vinyl shelving unit that is 42-44 inches long and holds two shelves of records and I can put my turn table, amp, preamp, and digital streamer on? I've been using one from walmart for the last 4 years, but with the addition of bigger amp and streamer, they are hanging like an inch off the top.

I got into ICP after seeing them on Howard Stern in like 2000. I was 15. And I was a devoted fan until around 21. Not that I didnt listen to anything else, just always got past and present PSY stuff. I still listen to anything new they have, just dont need to buy it. Im looking forward to the new album in 2 weeks.

Would be interested in just the ringmaster, but not at that price although im sure its beautiful. I enjoy that album still. Hell's Pit isnt bad, defiently better than Shangra-La. I have Riddlebox and Great Milenko on vinyl. I dont really enjoy any of their albums after Milenko (with the exception of Bizzar/Bizaar). I used to be a huge Juggalo (tough to admit 15 years later lol). I own every PSY album from dog beats to FF4 on cd. Including bug island, blaze, twizted, dark lotus (I should really get the lotus pod on vinyl.). I would also like The Green Book on wax.

Only interested in CKY. More interested in sleep though. Willing to apy $10 more to sleep in and buy it on ebay. I find that RSD releases have gone way down on ebay over the years. Used to be like triple the cost, then double, now just a few bucks. That's of course for less popular stuff.

Its funny cause all ive been playing since I got them in Pink Floyd, The Doors, Who, and Queen. Sounding so good. Oh I through Pawn Shop on by Sublime and thought the bass was going to wake the neighbors

Thank you for this information. I'm going to have to do a bit more research. I still get a bit confused on the DAC part. All I know if that the amp I bought has a DAC.

Anyone have one of these? I recently upgraded to a Cambridge CX80 amp and then started reading about this. The reviews are pretty solid, but $900 may not be worth it. I currently bluetooth from my Mac or phone to it using the Cambridge BT100 (when not spinning records.) The BT100 works great, but really curious how much better this streamer can make Tidal, Spotify, and my iTunes library. Also, there are two versions on the CXN with V2 just having an updated processor. Would love to find a V1 for a reduced price, but cant seem to find one. Suggestions?
