  1. Great customer service. Only time I've really had a problem they fixed it right away. And I didn't e-mail them, instead I took the low road and I pouted on here. They look up on the boards, and they contacted me and took care of it no problem. There is still a Gaslight Anthem 10" import that I'm waiting on, but I think there was a hold up on production or something. I'm not too worried though, I know it'll show up eventually. Until then I still have the 2x7" to listen to.
  2. Awesome J Church collection! I've really been getting into them lately, they're so addictive! I'm not even going to try to get a J Church collection going, there's way too many releases out there!
  3. Shoot, just saw this. No cassette for me. I'll probably hold off on ordering it then. I don't think I'll ever run out of music to listen to by The Mountain Goats. They're so damn prolific, it's crazy.
  4. I'm happy with the release. I'd rather have a full length, but oh well. Is Fat still limiting their records to 2000 total, or will this stay in print on black? Just curious.
  5. Nice! Grabbed one of them on Gruff Yellow. I'm excited for the upcoming releases, looks like it could be another good year.
  6. I might have to get in on this. Looks like it's gonna reach the goal.
  7. I got that 10 for $20 deal. I haven't listened to any of them yet, but I love their packaging. I haven't got many Equal Vision releases before this, so maybe I'm easily amused. But, the Cinematic Sunrise CD came with colored pencils and a "coloring book" insert. And the Prize Fighter Inferno CD had taro cards that had lyrics and whatnot on the back of them. Who knew you could get interesting little extras with CDs? I was tempted to add the $10 blind box too, but it moved to the accessories section and couldn't be shipped media mail. I didn't feel like paying $15 for shipping for a blind box.
  8. That Bright Eyes album didn't really do much for me. I'm glad that some money went to charity by purchasing it. It seems really lack luster for a Christmas album, and that's probably why I didn't enjoy it. When I want to listen to a Christmas album, I want things a little more lively.
  9. I don't know how long it'll last, but it's looking like it will be over before they take their holiday break. From their newsletter - and
  10. Got a few packages from Suburban Home the last couple of days: LPs Bad Astronaut - Acrophobe The Gamits - Parts (blue) Two Cow Garage - Sweet Saint Me 10" Lizzie Huffman and Her Brother Band CDs Two Cow Garage - Sweet Saint Me + a couple of mixtapes Posters Two Cow Garage - Sweet Saint Me screenprint (yellow) 15th Anniversary poster Ninja Gun - Restless Rubes Two Cow Garage deluxe bundle extras T-shirt Koozie Pint Glass 64 oz flask Button
  11. Thanks for the mp3 offer for Mad Caddies, but I'll probably just pick it up sometime down the road. No matter how bad or good an album is, I feel better buying it. I remember seeing the Flipsides on tour with Groovie Ghoulies, and that was a great show. I think I was pretty broke at the time, or else I would have picked up their album.
  12. Is this sale going to last until you clean out more room? I'd love to get more stuff after x-mas. Also, happy for the J Church addition. I was planning on picking that up with my next order.
  13. Got mine a couple weeks ago. I ordered mine around the 11th too. I imagine they get busier this time of year, so that's probably why it's taking longer.
  14. I got the CDs today! For anyone curious, missing were Mad Caddies - Quality Soft Core and Honest Don's Welcome Wagon. Kinda bummed about not getting Mad Caddies. But on the upside they included Dance Hall Crashers - Purr and Fabulous Disaster - Put Out or Get Out. I was wondering why Pink & Black weren't roped into the deal. I'd rather have The Flipsides than Fabulous Disaster, but oh well. Wish I would have had enough for the LPs too. Now I've got some doubles that I can give away for Christmas, and have more than plenty left over for me.
  15. Usually by last name. Sometimes by first name though. For example: Laura Stevenson and the Cans I file under "L". But then I also put Kevin Seconds and his Ghetto Moments under "S", so it's by my other Kevin Seconds record.
  16. Nope. all the ones that came are still listed on their site as available as well. Ah, thank you.
  17. The Real McKenzies - Oot & Aboot / Teen Idols - Pucker Up! were still listed when the deal was originally posted, were either of those included?
  18. But then you'll never know if the record is actually what it's supposed to be! They still have the same little etchings or inscriptions, whatever they're called, on them.
  19. Doesn't this come with a coozie too? Or did those run out with the CD preorders?
  20. I guess I thought most people treated them like the holy grail, guess not. I usually stick with one record for my playing copy if I have multiples of them for whatever reason, so I don't play my test pressings.
  21. Test pressings are cool. I have 3, 2 of which I got for free unexpectedly in orders that I placed with the labels that released them. The other one I bought directly from the label that released it, so I didn't mind paying as much as I did for it. I don't think I would ever buy a test press off of some random person on eBay though. But in the end, it's (usually) the same exact record as the wide release, and chances are you will never play it. So why not spend that money on more records? Right? Unless you're a really big fan of the band/ label/ release, there's not much point in owning one.
  22. Looks like everything turned out great! I don't drink, but I admit I'm really excited to get that flask...just because of how ridiculously large it is. Plus it has the nice design that's also on the screen print poster.
