I'm having a very similar problem with my new Music Hall 2.3SE, I hear some pops or clicks when I move the tonearm up and down, like when you move it to place it over the record... or when you are returning it to the tonearm rest... I believe it doesn't affect playback but honestly I don't know.. The table sounds great though...

Hi guys, I have a new Music Hall 2.3SE tturntable and it sounds awesome, but I just noticed that when I pickup the tonearm from the tonearm rest to place it over the record ( or when I return it to the rest..) I hear pop or click exactly to how it sounds when there is static in the record... It seems to only happen when the tonearm moves up or down... Could it be just static?? I know that the cartridge pickups a lot of other stuff but I cranked the volume way up on my amp and then moved the arm and the little pops are there when I love it up or down... Any ideas?
