My MBV came in a little toasty as well. Beat up corners, shrink torn up, etc. I also ordered that Kimbra record. It came in pretty good shape. What are you gonna say for 1/4 priced records?

I guess I should have commented on my original statement about the original press. Sorry about that. This may get nerdy.

The original press doesn't sound bad. It's cut really hot. Depending on the cartridge you are using it can be sibilant on cymbals, the "sss" vocal sounds clip and sometimes guitars can get crackly. I have three close friends with original presses. Two blues and an orange. I've heard the album many times on three different systems.
 
All three systems, including mine, have been on a steady upgrade path. With each increase in quality of cartridge and stylus, the recording gets better. Higher end distortion is handled better and is more tolerable. I've directly compared the original with the repress. The original is "louder" if that's what you are into. The remaster is respectable though. A rip of a record available online could be done through a ten thousand dollar turntable and cartridge setup and you wouldn't know. Obviously that will sound better than a cheapie cartridge.

Definitely true but given the price change just within the past 24-48 hours that is no longer the case. I figured it wouldn't hurt to see if maybe there was still someone in this thread who missed out on that price before it was raised and still wanted it badly. That being said, I think more than at cost would be fair given the high demand and limited supply. But hey, if everyone's got one already then awesome! Glad everyone was able to snag one! I don't mind having an extra, haha.

The green is a GoHastings exclusive. As much as I hate to order from them for the way they package, i'm gonna take my chances.

I'm not sure they are making profit on shipping. They just aren't offering media mail. UPS ground or USPS three day select are the cheapest options. At least the lp is only $15.

Just throwing this out there, I have a couple albums from Music on Vinyl that are Bronze/silverish and they sound awesome. NOT like the original press of deloused.

Just got shipping confirmation. I must say, this is how every vinyl release should be handled. They took pre-orders a reasonable amount of time before they could ship and sold the records at a very reasonable price. Bravo Triple Crown!
