We are by appointment from 8am to Noon on Record Store Day and available for walk up customers starting right at noon. This year we're doing things a little different though. If you like, you are welcome to line up as early as you want in the event that we have no shows for appointments. A handful happen every year so there's a great chance you'll be able to get in early. At the very least you'll be ready to go when we open at noon. If you're wondering if we're getting that thing you're excited about. YES WE ARE. We don't publish lists in advance but if it's good we get it!
 
Leftovers go up on our website www.1234gorecords.shop at 5am Pacific on Sunday April 21st and we'll start shipping orders on Monday. We do what we can to ship the largest amount of orders as quickly as possible. Tracking is sent to the email you supply at check out. If you haven't gotten an email with tracking it means we're still getting to your order.

Look at you business genius

I got the 7" at their Baltimore date. $15 + tax. This was the first time out of hundreds of shows I've been to where I went to buy merch and they refused cash. Insane to me, especially a punk show, but I guess that's becoming more of a thing. I haven't played it yet but I got the red/500. No insert, just the record and jacket in shrink wrap. A guy next to me bought the signed copy for $60 and it was white with blue and red splatter which sold out pretty quick. Apparently some people bought the signed at other dates and still got the red variant.

You keep bringing this up as though most of the folks who ordered from them weren't like, "Fuck, these guys suck but there is no other way to get this for a remotely reasonable price."

Well. My copy arrived today Sunday. Nice surprise. It’s in perfect shape. I’m glad they put the records in poly-lined paper sleeves so not to damage the printed ones. Nice touch. And the resealable plastic sleeve is nice & thick. 
 
So far I’d say I’m impressed with IVC. I’ll re-up for Helmet’s Betty. 

At first I thought this was kinda cheesy. Then I played the new version, then I played the original version. After sitting with it, its actually really cool they did this. While the original is a classic, you can hear how young they were when they recorded it, it was pure. Now hearing the new version you can hear how the song has grown over 23 years of touring and how mature they sound. Brandon's voice is deep and worn, the band is in the groove. As a band, you dream of these moments and I think its cool they stayed together long enough to do this.

got my tri color today and it was packed like it was a delicate pastry from a fancy bakery.

Fuck it. I bit. One of my top 10 albums so the fanboy in me came out. 

Packing was the same as it is for all of their releases. Box made for 4-5 records, they ship three with no additional padding or cardboard. Mine turned out ok, but there will likely be a ton of splits/busted jackets with these.

The gold version is much better quality. Not sure why the number isn’t out of 500. Also glad they shipped the box sets with actual protection. The first box set I ordered was sent loose in a box that allowed over 1” of space for the record to bounce around. The corners were creased. This shipment arrived safe.

I was able to grab one. I thought about coming here to post about it, but they were all sold out by then so I didn't bother. I'm pretty excited for it though. Expensive, but mwY are one of my all time favorite bands and it'll be cool to have an original Kafanov painting. 
I had missed the email this morning but my brother texted me about it at like 10:18 and by then, there were like 7 of the Bubblegum Brain variant left, and 6 or so of the painted sleeve with no vinyl. I think by around 10:35 they were all sold out. 
It's kind of odd that they paired these painted covers with the I Never Said I Was Brave EP. With the artwork style, I would've thought they'd pair them with some sort of special edition of the self-title EP or LP. 

Now I want to see your "decent damage" vs his "completely trashed" for science lol.
 
But like I said, stores generally don't tell you to fuck off for no reason.

They did a zine with each release. Sometimes the zine even held up shipping and caused delays 
 
they were constantly doing BOGO sales and I always wondered how that was viable. 
 
they sent out an email recently saying they were shifting distribution but outstanding orders WOULD be fulfilled. Should have seen this coming though when they pulled all inventory off the site. 
 
I will say, the releases I got from them were very nice though. Big rips. 

I got in on the $100 Gc for $40 in November, ordered three records in two orders and received one. I guess I'm basically even for what I paid but that sucks. 

I've been waiting on an order from them since November. Guessing I'm shit outta luck.
