  1. Thanks for your efforts with the preorders, really appreciated. I know I speak for others who don't post as often. Cheers! 🤘
  2. Hm... accounts with 11k-20k posts bullying someone with 2.7k posts about spending too much time online when he's actually helping people out. Interesting... 😆
  3. For me it goes Blue Album, Pinkerton, Greatest Hits. Weezer became a Greatest Hits band, imo. 😆 I feel like they take more of a "throw a buncha shit at the wall and see what sticks" approach to songwriting. Kind of like Green Day's trilogy, I really don't mind them releasing a lot of music. Not every song needs to be a huge hit to be enjoyable. Although I did enjoy Green Album, Make Believe, and Hurley to varying extents. I'll admit that I really haven't listened to a full album after EWBAITE. I prefer an album every year with maybe only one or two really good songs as opposed to the approach of 5 years in between every album, which could turn out with only one or two good songs anyway.
  4. I just used crates and packed them in my uhaul with blankets and pillows on top to prevent anything falling on them. I did take a portion of my more valuable records and put them in boxes of 20-25 records each just for added protection though.
  5. Would sure love to see a photo if someone out there has all of the variants.
  6. I had 10 copies of Green Day's Warning album before I had to admit that I had a problem. lol Those were all different variants though. That's a long time to hold those investments, but a good move if you can afford to HODL. Cheers!
  7. I didn't start collecting Coheed vinyl until the Afterman releases, which are still my favorite. Kinda lost interest after the last album but I gotta keep my collection going!
  8. I keep my distance for reasons as well. I feel ya. On a totally unreleated note, I think I know what Kindergarten teachers must feel like on November 1st. 😆
  9. Love this band. May have to pick up the tour variant. True story: I once sold the bassist Bill a copy of their Short Songs EP. I guess it was a variant he didn't already have. Met the band members a handful of times over the years. Talked a bit with Shane just about life in general during a meet n greet. Shane was kinda hitting on my GF at the time until he realized we were together. I blame her for trying to get backstage with him. lol Talked to Bill briefly about sports as they were cleaning up their gear after a show. Great guys, can't support them enough.
  10. To an extent, yes. Otherwise we'd all be listening to flexis. A thicker record can hold deeper grooves and the weight helps it stay flat with less movement on the turntable. But IDK if they need to be 180g to acheive this. I have had vinyl that felt thinner than standard and did notice a decline in sound quality. But between a standard vinyl and 180g, if there is a difference it probably isn't going to be noticeable for most unless maybe you have a really high end sound system and turntable.
  11. Last time I ordered anything from SRC, it was Bush - Sixteen Stone when it was released on white vinyl. Ordered two copies, after a few months of it never arriving I contacted them. No response. I contact them again, no response. After raising hell on their FB someone finally got back to me and sent the record. I received one damaged copy on black vinyl. When they released the Angus soundtrack (must have for my Green Day collection), I intentionally paid double to buy it from a flipper to avoid SRC. Never spent a dime on SRC releases after that.
  12. GoDaddyBookkeeping worked great for me. You import all of your PP or Bank transactions and can itemize everything there. You might have to keep a seperate total of prices that you paid for items that were purchased over a year ago. Only need to subscribe for a month ($9.99) long enough to itemize your taxes, then cancel the subscription.
  13. Looks like Billie Joe's car got stolen the other day. Sweet looking vehicle too. https://www.nme.com/news/music/green-days-billie-joe-armstrong-appeals-for-information-after-his-car-was-stolen-3154961
