Hello This is the first time to post on here. I recently started to use my record player a lot more (Sony ps-lx300usb - basically a plug and play out of the box). My current player is about 11 years old and I've come to notice a few things about it, I've started to think about upgrading and still have the ability to make digital copies of the records. After looking around on the net, I seem to like the look of the Pro-ject decks and some of the upgrade options available e.g choice of platter, matts etc. Is there anything I should be aware of when considering one of their decks, as I don't have a lot of knowledge and experience about decks.
