What's with the crazy high demand for this poster? The Gaslight Anthem - Montclair, NJ - Holiday 2009 - Concert Poster
    $275.00 / Sold Out

Hand screenprinted poster for The Gaslight Anthem show at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ.

Gaslight Anthem is one of those bands that are perfect for driving around in your vintage car while it snows outside thinking about your lost high school sweetheart. Happy holidays.

Colors: Three - light blue, dark blue, red
    Size: 19" x 25"
Paper: archival white French 100# cover
    Condition: mint

This is an AP proof and was just found in the back of the racks. I don't see any damages or off reg but they may not be perfect on super close looking. These have been long sold out and go for higher prices whenever they pop up on Ebay.

The shipping costs more as we are ONLY sending this with insurance and tracking so that the poster gets to you all nice and happy.

Nice one. Sorry, should I go edit and put a winking emoticon next to it or would you rather me let you ride out that smart feeling for a little while?

Oh, boy, I'm so glad you're interested in it.

I've been wanting to tell this story for a while, but it's kind of long because of all the records. I'll email and pm you a story per record, I think once or twice a day can get through them all in a few months.

    Thanks for your interests!

It only "depends" on that if you choose to accept the incorrect pronouncements of the idiots at the post office who are misinformed. As this thread has shown, the official criteria for media mail is readily available to show to the morons (and the supervisors of morons).

I hear you but the same artist makes prints of the same quality for the same band at prices that are generally lower by $10. Many of the El Jefe prints I've bought for less are even more limited.

    Jess,
Send me a couple of the artists who's collections were wiped out in the storm. I'm going to send you a couple records as a gift. If I don't have those I'll send a surprise based on taste. Post it publicly here and PM me your address.

What people think is a good lyric is obviously going to be subjective. You may find TGA to be amateurish, while others may find you favorite lyrics bland. It doesn't mean that anybody is right or wrong, just different opinions. I personally think "We sing with our heroes 33 rounds per minute. And we're never going home till the sun says we're finished." is one of my favorite lyrics ever. And I also love "Did you hear your favorite song one last time?". To each their own.

To raise some dough after being robbed, the Souls will be putting up items on ebay all week.

"Thank you everyone for all of your support after our robbery in Allentown a couple weeks ago. It was a pretty huge blow to our world and we are currently working on digging ourselves out of this ditch. We were inspired to help ourselves through the generosity and spirit of our friends Chuck Ragan, Man Overboard, and Mark Beemer and SSE/Shirts For A Cure. Their commitment to our family gave us the most hope when we were the most down. So we rummaged through our storage and personal collections and are parting with these treasures in order to keep our ship afloat.
We will adding more as the week goes by.
We're gonna play no matter what they say (or do)!

    Here's where he lost me:
"Then we have Keepsake, which might be about murdering a woman and dumping her body in the river, but it’s like he wrote that song then fudged it because he wanted to be all nasty and honest like Johnny Cash or Nick Cave but didn’t want his mummy to think he’s not a nice boy. It’s like Nick Cave if you took away all the gothic menace and minatory artistry. Did they have harmonica on any of their older songs? If not that’s another PROPER HEARTLAND ROCK BAND checklist tick."
If he's too dense to realize that this song is about Brian's dad, his liberal use of a thesaurus is not enough to make me take him very seriously.
