This is possibly the most batshit criticism of anything I've ever heard.  I know PJ fans are crazy, but are people seriously saying to themselves "I don't see any US dates today, guess I better book my airline tickets to Krakow"?

Depending how long you're staying in the area and your ability to venture to Jersey, I highly recommend Princeton Record Exchange (in, you guessed it, Princeton) and Vintage Vinyl (in Fords). Those are the state's best records stores in my opinion.

TBH, I don't give a shit if anything from RSD is repressed. If I got up early and got the record thats my choice.  I could be disappointed if i knew I wouldn't have to "work" as hard to get it, but again, I made my choice with the info that was available at the time. At that point, I'd have gotten the record, so anything that happens after that, why should I care.

It seems to me that if someone only cared about collectability, secondary market value and rarity, then sure, I guess they could get pissed. But I just want the record. Don't care how many there are or what I had to go through (or not go through in the case of a repress) to get it.

RSD won't go away because people like the day and stores benefit from it.

To the extent your question is genuine, I follow musicians on social media to get updates on their musical projects.  That is what being a fan of his music has to do with checking his social media.

I am a big fan of his music. But that doesn't prevent me from being very troubled by his actions. Is that seriously hard to make sense of?

I think there are many of us who are or who have been big fans of him for a very long time. I believe everything from the article, and was disappointed to hear about all of the allegations against him. I haven't listened to his music since.  But that doesn't mean he is absolutely beyond redemption. I don't think I will be able to consider him in the same way again, but my hope is he can start an actual journey of self-discovery and understand that he hurt these women, and why that is a problem.   I think about the singer of Pinegrove - he admitted and acknowledged everything he was accused of without laying any guilt or blame on the person accusing, and through a mediator, developed a way in which they could move forward.  Was it perfect? No, but it is still far more than DRA has done, which is nothing.

I am still a big fan of his music, but I don't know that I will be listening to it until he at least owns up to his actions, and has honest discussions about them. Because otherwise this cycle is just going to repeat itself.

Has anyone else been paying attention to DRA's social media activity of late? Bunch of phony meditations about gratitude with plenty of "God bless y'alls" thrown in for good measure. So much for his promise to "soon" provide his side of the misconduct allegations.

Are there really people who can't see how fake this all is? I guess the answer is yes given the amount of fanboys and gals who instantly shower these posts with "likes." Pathetic.

In fall 2018, the world got a little bit quieter as notorious Nashville power-punks Diarrhea Planet announced Shred Thee Well, their final run of shows at one of our fav hometown haunts, Exit/In. Now one year later, we are proud to turn the volume knob all the way back up with Live At Exit/In, a high def two-disc Blu-Ray of their farewell shows, out December 3rd.
Much like the four-guitared band took their live show to the limit and then blew the hell past it, Live at Exit/In totally smashes the expectation of what a concert DVD can be. Recorded by local DIY documentarian Stephen “TompDogg” Thompson and presented in full HD 1080p resolution, it features all 32 original songs across the three farewell shows with ten camera angels and mastered multi-track audio. A special bonus disc plays more like a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure video, letting you decide how to experience “Enter the Great Gate/Emmett’s Vision," “Kids,” and “Ghost with a Boner." That's right, watch from the middle of the pit, from side stage like a VIP, or even from Tuff Gus' drum kit like you're in the dang band! Wrapped up in an eco-friendly packaging with art by Tuff Gus, Live at Exit/In is also region-free, meaning no matter where you are, you'll be living on Diarrhea Planet!
Out December 3rd, preorders will come with a patch designed by Tuff Gus while supplies last. Please note that any other items ordered with a preorder will ship with the preorder!

Infinity Cat is teasing an announcement of something soon. Based on the comments, it looks like it's going to be a live release of the final Diarrhea Planet shows in Nashville:
The dude in the comments named "tompdogg" is the videographer who recorded the shows. Here's a teaser clip he posted on YouTube a while back. Cannot wait for this. This was one of the best shows I've ever witnessed.

Hey everyone has their own taste. In terms of music there really is only a small window of right / wrong as about 95% of music is just taste . Now crap like Nickelback or ICP or something goes beyond taste and into just being a bad person . J/K sorta .

When I am reaching for a F2F album I grab the live album  , Over it , and protection in that order . The live album has all the best songs from the 3 first albums so go with it instead and it has my favorite song by them don't turn away ( as does over it )

Depending on your location, Princeton Record Exchange in NJ buys large collections and they make house local house calls from what I understand. One thing that might be helpful is to take some video of the collection (highlighting some samples). Emailing the video to dealers will be helpful to them if the condition is at the higher end.

Given the show’s setting, it seems like a missed opportunity to do a Kmart exclusive. Y’know, before they’re totally bankrupt.

(Personally, an orange Orange Julius exclusive would have been my first pick over UO if I was the marketing guy.)
