  1. Selling 2-4 tickets to the Irvine Meadows show if anyone is interested. Not looking to make face value, just looking to recoup a little. Let me know if you're interested. Cheers.
  2. I have 4 tickets for Blink 182 at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheater this weekend. Lawn seats. Willing to sell as a set of 2 or 4 only. $45.00 each OBO.
  3. I don't care what the bracket says, Love Love Kiss Kiss is the worst. Dan, this is super awesome and I'm looking forward to seeing what the results are.
  4. Me either, but for some reason that song popped into my head and then was driving me crazy.
  5. Everyone get's +1s for being awesome and this thread can now be deleted.
  6. Solved: For some reason something you guys said kicked it loose. I was trying to think of The Stills - Logic Will Break Your Heart. Also, upon looking it up on Amazon I had the black background and busy pattern, but was totally off otherwise in it's visual description.
  7. You guys are awesome for trying to help me out. Not Wallflowers. Album cover is busier pattern than that (plus I know that album by heart). It wasn't Artic Monkeys or soul wax.
  8. National airplay, not a local act. There was one single that got a good amount of play on Indie stations, but fuck me if I can remember it.
  9. That's not it. The cover didn't have anything else on it except for the dark background and yellow star/light pattern (if I remember it right). Thank you though!
  10. I am drawing a blank and it's driving me crazy. Early 2000's. Interpol-ish or Shins-ish band. The album cover was dark with yellow lights, or some kind of pattern in yellow like stars on the cover. It's very little to go on... but maybe it'll ring some bells.
  11. Selling my expedit. Put together and in like new condition. Looking for $75 OBO. Local pick up available anytime. Please let me know.
  12. I'm doing this on Instagram but thought it would be fun to do here as well. I'll be posting something Halloween related every day, and hope you guys contribute as well. Here's October 1st (a day late, apologies) and October 2nd to get us started-
  13. That is good to know about Chambers. I found an article on top "date night" restaurants in SF and that was at the top of the list. I'll cross that one off and look into your other suggestions.
  14. Thanks very much. I'll look into his recommendations. I have narrowed it down to a few spots, made reservations for each... and will cancel those once I make a final choice. I'm looking at Foreign Cinema, Chambers, and now looking at The Slanted Door. We will also be there a few nights so we may end up at a few of those on the list. I just want to try and pick a nice romantic (without being stuffy) spot for our Just Married dinner.
  15. Thanks very much for those suggestions guys. The neighborhood doesn't matter. I'm willing to drive a bit or uber to the restaurant, regardless. That view is pretty nice, might be a good spot to check out.
  16. I'm getting married in SF in October and want to go out to a nice dinner that evening. I'm not worried about price... although not looking to spend $600 on dinner either. Looking for something hip and trendy. Someplace we can dress up for, but not stuffy. American, French or Japanese preferred, but open to other suggestions if it fits the bill. Thanks in advance!
  17. Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures. They're the "fake" band that plays during the concert scene in Rob Zombie's Halloween pt II. Really fun Halloween album from start to finish. I'd add the whole thing to my playlist, but if you just want a couple of tracks, Transylvania Terror Train, HonkeyTonk Halloween and Redneck Vixen from Outerspace. I'd also recommend anything from The Ghastly Ones. It's spooky halloween themed surf music. Perfect party backdrop music. Anything by The Cramps Anything by The Groovie Ghoulies (Re-Animation Festival is my favorite album though) For oldies but goodies: Monster Mash (of course) The Crusher - Night of the Werewolf - lee krisofferson Rockin' Zombie - the crewnecks The Time Warp - Rocky Horror soundtrack Science Fiction Double Feature (either from Rocky Horror or the Me First cover) Devil in a Blue Dress - Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels Werewolf of London - Warren Zevon Doin' The Zombie - Chubby Checker Bela Lugosi's Dead - Bauhaus out of limits - the marketts
  18. I have the splatter copy if you're interested. Feel free to PM.
