Only problem with tracking is 1 LP to UK 1st class (no tracking) is about $14.20. Registered Mail to track is $25.70 Priority mail (to track) is $32.55. To send packages with tracking cost is way high. BUT when it comes to 7"s....You can pack 4 or 5 in a 7"mailer, then slide that in a flat rate envelope and it $13.95 and trackable. And that's to anywhere outside U.S. if you send shit 1st class, there actually is some tracking. use the number on the customs form. it'll atleast let people know the item has been shipped. it won't give you much more than that though.

Shit happens. Records can and will go lost went sent by labels and distros anyways. I don't think there will be that much added risk. you could always just use a shipping method that includes tracking so you know your shit is actually being passed on. That being said, I'm in Canada, and I'd be down. Maybe we could start by getting a list of whose willing to be involved and where in the world they are located.

it'll be different from company to company and policy to policy. just need to ask your insurance company if it will be covered. if not, they should cover it (for additional fees of course) if you have the collection and appraised. even if the company will cover it, at say a flat rate per lp, 7" etc, if you have a large collection with high value items, might be worth having it appraised and going that route.

looking at big d - fluent in stroll. was there only 1 pressing? I know of a blue/clear pressing but can't seem to find any info on it. some places i see /500 some i see /1000, but no where does it say there was a second press. just curious before I go ahead and buy.

It's not true tracking. use the number that starts with LN and punch it in the USPS site. on the label its under the bar-code, not sure where it would be on the receipt. When you check the tracking all you will see, at least in my experience, is that the package was accepted at a distribution facility. I've never seen any updates past that, like shipping out of there, crossing the border, or being delivered. If I remember correctly though, it does show the destination address. Being a buyer from Canada, I like to see it simply as proof that something was shipped. Don't really care where exactly it is, as long as it shows up at my door. For a seller, you can prove you sent shit if someone fucks around / shit gets lost in the mail.

for me, the worst part is, at first they did respond to e-mails, and were actually cool about shit, so I figured things would get resolved. it seems like they decided to stop responding after the 45 days paypal allows to file a claim. When I tried to deal with it through my credit card, they told me because it is paypal, I have to deal with them, which is a load of BS.

anyone here have any problems with ordering from these guys? I ordered stuff way back in August, and after a month, got in touch with the guy, and i thought we had things worked out, and i expected another delay, but he stopped responding to my emails after October, and I just remembered all about it today. 2000 GMC Sonoma. About a year ago, I looked into buying a car. After checking around for new and used cars, and punching some numbers, I realized the money I could get for my truck, is peanuts considering the pieces of shit I could buy with it, considering no one takes care of their vehicles these days. and with a new car, I just don't want to spend the money on something cheap, when I can wait a few years and get what I want instead of settle on something. Plus, when I thought about, I take great care of my truck. With the exception of a few minor problems that are easily fixed, I know this thing isn't just going to fall apart on me anytime soon. I've seen some used cars my friends have bought, and they end up costing them a fortune in the long run, because you never know how the vehicle was treated by its previous owner. For anyone here who works with touring bands, they probably all know stories of bands getting fucked with their 'new' used vans.
