WHAT THE MOTHERFUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why did I not see this thread before tonight!!!!!! I just sprung for an original press of Catch For Us The Foxes about 30 minutes ago! Granted, I got an amazing price but still!!!! Fuck it! I just ordered one of each of these. They're awesome as shit looking! 180 gram is so pleasant to the touch. Also just managed to score two copies of Converge's No Heroes today. Weird shit.

Dude, I scored an Isis record at Dave's that usually runs about $75 on eBay for only $22. I looked up on the wall behind him and he had about 20 copies of it along with quite a few other Isis rarities in multiples. I found a copy of Pelican's City of Echoes for about $20 which normally goes for at least $40 on eBay. I think those are cases of "doesn't know what he has." All the better for me. I'm surprised they didn't mention the Reckless stores out here in Chicago.

I got mine from HT yesterday. They only had two copies and both had HUUUUGE corner bends in lower right corner. I got it anyway because I figured it was highly likely that I would not come across it anywhere else. I'm thinking I'll just order another one online and save it as the collectible and play my bent one. Sounds great though. Praying that my S/T amazon.co.uk is not an erroneously posted item.... If it comes, it'll be dream come true.

By way of the above quoted post, you have made me the happiest person on Earth right now! Just ordered this. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I scored a copy of this from eBay recently for way too much money and the asshole shipped it horribly. It arrived quite bent in the upper left hand corner. No padding. No plastic cover on jacket. Nothing. LP in a loosely fastened mailer. What a jackass! Does anyone have experience having vinyl shipped from amazon.co.uk? I'm ordering this regardless but if anyone has any sentiments for my peace of mind feel free to post about it. My amazon.com experiences have been great though. Thank you!

I ordered three Isis records from Amazon.com. Two of them were ordered from Amazon.com itself that and the third was ordered from an Amazon.com Marketplace seller. The records from Amazon were packed exactly as they were supposed to be in a standard record mailer. I can't remember if they used any pads to stiffen the package but there were absolutely not shipping scars on either of the LP's. The one I ordered from the Marketplace seller was shipped in a box about 4 times the size of a standard mailer and had lacerations through the plastic sleeve into the surface of the record jacket and what looked like swarms of pin-pokes in a few concentrated areas on the cover. I sent that seller a scathing lecture on LP shipping propriety. I think you're good with Amazon itself but if you order from a Marketplace seller, make sure you send them a message to ensure that they know HOW to ship records.
