***SOLD*** is a Joyce Manor / Summer Vacation test press of their split 7". This was the first release for both of these incredible bands. 40 copies of the test were made and only 30 were available for sale during Joyce Manor's 1 week west coast tour in August 2010. These are in a blank pocket sleeve and are labeled using an old school hand punch labelmaker and hand numbered. This specific copy is from my personal collection, I kept two before giving copies to both bands.

FYI- all but maybe 5 copies sold at their record release show in Pomona, Ca. I got a copy, won't be selling it, sorry. These dudes are the most exciting band in California right now.

I have to go double check, but I remember there were some photos and stuff, but nothing super cool. I only opened it to check the number and to see if I got anything rad. I was stoked on the low number, but was underwhelmed by the extras. It's still an awesome collectible for any MCD fan and I'm only asking enough to cover what I paid and PayPal and shipping fees. I think a couple sold last year for over $200, so I know this is a very fair price.

Turkish Techno- Demos 2x7"

These are early recordings of 4 tracks that will appear on their forthcoming LP. I have two version of this available. The first is the regular version, white vinyl with black streaks. Each record has it's own jacket and it's more like a sister release.

The second version is the test press. These are packaged together in a screened jacket, hand numbered /50 with black vinyl and blank labels. I only have 10 of these available for sale, once they're gone I won't have anymore.

What kind of car does everyone drive?

1984 Toyota 4Runner. I just spent $2,000 having my friend completely overhaul the engine from top to bottom (all OEM/Japanese parts-no half ass rebuild). I'd rather put a little money into that thing and have it last another 200,000 than have to deal with a payment/insurance on a new car. My last new car, a 2008 Subaru WRX, cost me $600/mo in insurance and payments. Fuck that.

I'll never buy a new car again. It loses about a quarter of it's value the second you drive it off of the lot.

A 25% loss is incredibly inaccurate. I've bought far too many new cars myself, plus I work in the wholesale auto auction industry and I see every week that simply isn't true for most cars. Sure, an SUV or truck or a similarly difficult vehicle to sell in this market will take a significant hit, but any decent Japanese car or fuel efficient vehicle will only take about a 10% hit in the first year.

Used cars have been selling for higher prices lately because people want to save every dime they can so the demand for used is up. Also, if you finance a used car you usually don't get the best financing incentives (below 5%) so if you do the math over the total term you can sometimes pay more for your used car.

Plus, working at a car auction, I see literally thousands of vehicles weekly that are absolutely trashed; brand new cars with less than 2,000 miles on them with blown up differentials, knocking engines with 15,000 miles, scratched paint, stained and ripped interior. People simply don't know how to take car of their cars.

I'll only buy used if I can buy it cash. If I'm going to finance I'll go new. That's just my $0.02.

Looked at your tradelist, doesn't look like it's anything you'd care to own anyways.

It's just a dumb 7" that we're doing for fun. It will be easier to manage, logistically, than the die cut vinyl idea they had before.

Less than Jake - Pezcore is the only one that comes to mind.

Has anyone seen a picture disc that has a die cut image inside?

I normally don't like picture discs but a band has an idea and it's actually kinda OK so I'm considering it. I guess I should just call the plant to see if it's something they'll do.
