I assume you stack alphabetically. Do "A"s go at the top or the bottom? No, I stack by spine color, from dark to light.

The most space-efficient way to stack ALL records, not just 7" is to lay them on top of each other. Your LP's will only take up 12" of space, and if you have decent sized ceilings (7 - 9 feet), you can fit a ton of records before you need to upgrade to a new space on the floor.

Well, my favorite part of owning records is flipping through them to decide what I want to listen to, which is why I like the store shelf method of storage. I have about 10 times what is in that stand, so it is relegated to stuff that I am more or less regularly listening to.

I don't see many people who store their records like they are in a store, facing frontwards. I am looking to get some custom shelves made to hold more like this, because I can't find any more of these stands, so I am looking for some ideas. If you store your records like this, PLEASE post/repost your pictures. Thanks!

Well this is a rather un-emo, nay, un-skramz response.

Yes, the original screamo is somehow what the word skramz came to define. jerseydave pretty much nailed it on the head in his post up there. It is stupid, but (if you are someone who needs to label everything) at least it helps differentiate between Orchid and The Used.

I have one of those clears from the first press and it does have a glossy cover, and no it does not say 1979. I took some pics of it and posted them on Dead Format a while ago, so maybe you can check those out.

That looks awesome. I think I missed that color and got the amber instead. Downloaded and listened to the album last night, and it is pretty fucking good.
