  1. haha me too. listening to the album on Tidal with their fancy normalization, good enough. that succcks. if you use Chrome you should be able to store your CC# and just enter the CCV. also i feel validated... I hate it too is totally my favorite Hum song:
  2. This is pretty ridiculous, so next week same time/same channel?
  3. Seconded, just got out my SRC copy. Woefully underwhelming copy, probably did the best with what was available. Unfortunately if you don't have an unmastered copy or a protools file there's not a lot that can be done to restore dynamic range/detail....is what I have noticed in reading about the subject of mastering for vinyl.
  4. I've been stuck on Summer in Abaddon for years, have the contemporary LP only. Never really got into any of the other Pinback records but... Rob Crow's My Room is a Mess is an absolute gem. Surprised that hasn't got the LP treatment, it's a short record would easily fit on a single LP.
  5. Taco Bell is tight! So is it sold... jk jk . Very glad that this wasn't a Coloring Book situation. I'm inferring from Matt's posts after big-boy-jesus' birthday there will be another round available, that what everyone else is ascertaining?
  6. So this pressing differs from the SRC, as in a new stamper?! That's boss if so. I was not exactly blown away sonically by the SRC copy or perhaps just a bit not into Far like I had been in the early 2000s when I first discovered their music. I was so crazy about them back then I spent like $80 on a Quick CD and Listening Game not as much. I absolutely love the original two Sketchy EPs and "Tricky", that'd make a good single LP. I do have the Sketchy#1 10", did #2 ever come as a vinyl pressing?
  7. LoL. I found a copy of school spirit unedited in lossless last week by chance. Time to find that hill.
  8. But Yeezus was one of the most poorly mastered albums of all time... of all time! I really do want a more dynamic version of Yeezus & Pablo. It's a shame all that exists is digital with the same 4-5dB of dynamic range. I'd like to see a double LP of Yeezus with some alternate versions i.e. before Rubin cut out the strings/orchestral parts. And the original sample of the choir on "on sight". Oh and a copy of "School Spirit" without the expletives reversed. School spirit uMtherUkfa !
  9. I really disliked EP3 a lot. But as a whole album, it's grown on me quickly.
  10. I should say "People are saying..." I know several people personally who just hate the band.
  11. I love this LP... but not as much as Ixnay. Hmm. Still have a signed CD of Ixnay. True story I met Mr. Holland when he was coming for recurring training in his CitationJet in the early 00s.
  12. I only bought the debut album as I've listened to wonderful recordings of the Toxicity LP for years. I don't think the self-titled pressing is miles away from the CD in terms of mastering/remastering, which is disappointing, but the pressing is well done. Likely there wasn't an incredibly dynamic (pre-mastering) source for the audio. That said, it's uncool to have this on LP, and I'm down with that. It's fulfilling my 1998 vinyl desires. Looking forward to spinning Pack up the Cats next. Now if only Matt had got that reissue of Heavenward is Downward out, really down to the wire now!
  13. I like Home minus about 4 tracks and I recall Animosity being decent. That said they aren't as cohesive an album as self-titled, where there's a song that I think is lame but the rest holds up well. I bother the Orchard twice a year about making vinyl editions of Nothingface's TVT albums. Skeletons is particularly crushed in the dynamics department, really want this to happen. I own a pre-master copy of Violence, which fills my burning desire for that one with a full 12dB of dynamic (instead of the retail CD's 5dB). "I'm mindin' my own business....I don't see nothin' wrong..." What's funny is I am just now seriously going to buy a copy. And I still want my (hed) P.E. self-titled. #1997
  14. I still own a few of the 12x12 album promo cards for some of my favorite 90s albums (as good as dead, razorblade suitcase, maybe not absolute favorite but I got a few of them when I was 14 and was stoked to put them on my wall)... no excuses, someone accidentally sent a low resolution file I bet.
  15. I love about 5 tracks off of this. Not a must buy but a very good album.
  16. Just stumbled upon this while selling my record by the Haunted from the same year, ooh am I excited! Why hasn't MOV done the Nothingface records!!!!
  17. Someone did! It's on its way to its new owner! Adjusted a few prices, btw.
  18. You're right, I'll clarify. These prices are plus shipping.
  19. yes, they do. i'm happy when bands are able to work things out like that. Think of how long it's taken Matt Talbott to get that Heavenward is Downward reissue! haha SRC just saw you're in Russia and decided to sting you because us North Americans have to put up with...you know who in office.
  20. Oh, I want it all baby... Every single H record. I want P.J. Soles on vinyl a lot. LOL you can't win... G&P buys it from SRC !
  21. Probably, if no one wants the package by Monday. Fair enough?
