I don't know anything about the context of that photo, but for the most part I have to say that I wouldn't be too disappointed if that entire shelf collapsed on its owner at some point in the near future.  How fucking stupid.

Don't fret men, those who have received their records are using them to their fullest potential.

I usually do want to see who mastered it.  Are you aware how music production works? Keep buying your CDs on Vinyl. 
 
Still don't see how wanting to know who mastered the album is treating them as a "life investment".

I was already out when I saw it was 2xLP. I don't want to flip it over every 3 songs. I would gladly sacrifice a few dbs of low end on a rock record for the sake of fitting it on 2 sides.

That story of the band having to glue the jackets doesn't make any sense. I find it hard to believe. Imprint prints gatefold jackets for around $1500, why would they even think about doing that work themselves?

They just want to cash in. I have no problem with that, although personally I'm not going to buy an LP for $50 and I don't care if it sells out and start selling for more money. I can live without a record. From what I've read from their FB, they want the fans to pay extra for their merch because of their mistake of signing on a major label. Now, that's another of my reasons to not buy anything from them.

To be fair, for this 2016 pressing Warner made Failure personally buy them for retail cost.  WB manufactured the discs, but Failure had to glue together the jackets and put the records in the sleeves and all that.  Yes Failure loves you that much.  
 
They should have an Apple like sticker "Designed and assembled by Failure.  Made in Warner Brothers' Pressing Plant."

I like the Mene 7", packaging was a pleasant surprise.   I might even consider the 10" now.   I'm just glad they released the demos in lossless.  Bought that shit the instant I saw it on bandcamp.com

I find it pretty hilarious the amount of shit Brand New fans will put up with. Dollar store masks in a box that has "the god and devil are raging inside of me" printed on it $40, seems reasonable.

What's next? A life-size cardboard cut-out of the little girl from the cover of TGADARIOM? A plush fox from daisy? A space rock in a box with the Deja Entendu astronaut on it? An album(I admit this ones way too far fetched)?

Hope this isn't sourced from the same place as the HT repress was. Compared to the original I have the red was just not anywhere near as nice sounding. Snagged this for $100 not too terribly long ago and it sounds great though. The fact that people are paying more for the red than this which is an OG promo copy kinda really bothers me because the sound is a night and day difference. Somethingsomething the hobby I suppose.
