This, and when you can only buy a release at a specific show or record store. I have an evil hole in another collection because I couldn't fly to Europe to MAYBE pick up one of these 4 different releases. Now they're $500 on ebay/discogs.

I have no idea why I don't own a copy of this album.

Each limited to 100 and it looks like each color has a different screen print on the B side. They have yet to put out anything I didn't love and I don't expect this to be any different. This is black metal with a bit of crust but they also have a few new tapes of their dark ambient music available on their bandcamp merch page.

They jumped the shark when they put out that shitty Red Fang record and had 34 variants, most in idiotic bundles, all overpriced. People bitched and they explained that lenticular covers were "very expensive to manufacture".

Why don't you want to see them again?

Praise Mollusca!! Slugdge's 2nd LP is getting issued on vinyl. I know a lot of people like Esoteric Malacology but I like this one better. More melodeth, less prog. Black /silver sounds cool but I'm not going to bump my cost for that. The orange outer glow just looks like orange.

I think I might hold out for that glitter. I don't care if it's the least limited.

I finally got to place my order. I got it to go through on mobile. Picked up all except the Alex Somers LP. These were actually quite a bit cheaper than I expected. I figured they'd be in the $30 to $40 range. Annoyed, stressed and finally relieved.

Has anyone had any luck purchasing from XL? I've just been hitting checkout>error>refresh repeat for nearly an hour. It recently let me add the Jonsi & Alex so they must still be in stock.

I wasn't very excited for Vol II but I had to get it because Panopticon. I'm liking it a lot more than I thought I would. Of course Vol I is amazing too. It is hard for me to get over the hump that is Echoes of a Disharmonic Evensong, (in my opinion one of the best songs ever recorded) but it's still one of the top 5 for the year if not #1. I know it's early but I'm still going to call it.

It looks like these slightly less limited versions of the 4 LPs are going to be RSD releases. I wonder if the US gets any.

That 7" isn't even vinyl. It's a lathe. I think I read it's limited to 500.

I saw them when they toured for Age of Winters. They were great. I saw them a couple years ago. oof. It's so hard to believe this is the same band.

Probably. I got to see them last year and I took my Indie Market pressing of Kveikur to the show. I met them after the show and asked them to sign it. They had never seen it before or knew that it existed. Then I proceeded to have a really awkward interaction with them (95% my fault) and I'm sure after they left Jonsi and Orri had a "fuck that guy" conversation.

Up until now the only releases I was missing were the Von remix ep and the Oxfam comp. Fuck. I mostly wanted the Route One LP but I don't see this ever happening. The Riceboy Sleeps would have been cool too. I seems like all of my favorite bands eventually do this to me.

Wish I wouldn't have waited on that new Suffocate For Fuck Sake LP. Still going to pick up Vukari, Dawn Ray'd, and Ashbringer. I almost want to buy another copy of Ancst - Furnace LP. That album rips all the way through.
