Mine is the same but I don't even count Yellow/Green. Third is probably between Blue and Red. The vocals on those make me cringe. Baroness has been one of my favorite groups but I couldn't make it through Yellow or Green in one sitting. I haven't listened to either one since the week they came out. I'll be all over the PO for the new one regardless.

How am I supposed to ask for news on this without bumping it? I figured I may as well since the Wes Anderson box set keeps getting bumped.

I'm super excited for this. I've been loving Last Poem, First Light quite a bit the last couple of months. Would love to see them with Set and Setting but I live too far away from all those shows.

Sigur Rós would get more of money money if they'd start pressing variants. That, or I'd have to stop being a completionist. I hope they don't press more variants, I have no self control.

$45 steep? I remember seeing a first press of this in a record shop (didn't buy, kicking self still). It was $47 10 years ago.

I didn't realize that this got a second press. I just POd from the ALR for $30 ppd.

I just nearly doubled my previous one and spent $150 + shipping from Europe for a Sigur Rós - Ágætis Byrjun test press. It's my 3rd copy of the record and I feel like it's a pretty good deal for a Sigur Rós test considering OG copies can go for that much. I really only have two records left to get my collection complete to my satisfaction. I'd still take a ( ) or Valtari test press but I'm not holding out for those, and yes, I know the ( ) test is on eBay right now.

I used to do it with Baroness. It wasn't too bad. 1-3 copies of each album. Then they signed to Relapse. Next thing you know Blue Album is on a dozen different colors including the elusive and expensive clear vinyl, and I'm out. I will still buy every single variant of Sigur Ros that comes out. I just bought my 3rd copy of Ágætis Byrjun (test press) and I'll buy the special edition when it comes out.

Not really obscure but Bee Gee's first Lp is a great pop album. I loved Souvenirs Young America. Great post rock. I thought they were going to be bigger than they were. I bought up all kinds of rare variants, tour presses, etc. None of them are worth anything. I love Cable Car Theory but only have a couple 7"s. Where can I get the LP cheap?

This record is okay. It sounds a bit like TSOPTC but not as energetic. While that's a great album I don't need it again. I was hoping for something different and rad.

Annoyed that there is only one colored vinyl version with a slipmat and I missed it.

When I want my Lost fix I just listen to the Big China in Little Trouble LPs. So good.

So does that mean you're going to die? No, you still don't have to. But this is a good place to start for Sigur Rós and will probably be a decent box set.

I liked Warp Riders. Better than Gods of the Earth actually.

There was an email a month or two ago about a pressing delay. It's still on the way but no date has been given.

I wish I could find the photos that I took. I got a priority box broken down and laid flat. There was no tape on the edges. No plastic sleeve. The jacket was hanging out one side of the box. The record was hanging out of the jacket and the vinyl was stuck to the box's adhesive strip. Miraculously the record and cover were in near perfect condition. Except for the fact that there was a barcode sticker stuck to the front of the cover. Oh yeah, and it was the wrong record. I'm not sure how they could have fucked up every single facet of that transaction considering they are an Amazon reseller with great feedback.

I've never tried to buy anything from Mondo. Is this going to be the kind of shit where I just sit around refreshing all day?
