Do see them live if you can. Saw them in Portland, ME in August and holy cow, totally amazing. They had a young bass player in Nate's place and Allen Epley, of Shiner fame, on guitar and vocals. Extremely solid! Seeing them in NYC again in May. 

Havent' bitched in this thread for some time. This is of course USPS begin stupid again. 
Picked up an LZ II RL Hot Mix from someone off Marketplace. Dude didn't want to ship it, but finally caved. Anyway, it's about a two hour drive from me here in in Maine. This went to the Southern ME distro center near Portland and then should have headed back north to me. Nope not this time! It took an adventure for the holidays to Oklahoma City, OK!!!! That's some crazy shit! I can't believe it. If I were to try to fly to OK from ME it would be a real headache and maybe three flights to get there, so the post office worked hard to get this thing there. Further update when I get it, hopefully next week.

With the intended ship date of December 8th approaching, we unfortunately have not yet received everything we need to fulfill orders. All of the vinyl has been pressed, but a couple of variants are in the process of being assembled and then need to be shipped to our office.
In light of this delay, we are adjusting the pre-order ship date to Friday, December 22; however, as more stock arrives we will be continuing to ship out orders daily and hope to get most packages sent out sooner.
We know that you are eager to receive your items and assure you that we are doing everything we can to get them in your hands as quickly as possible.

P.P.S. You might notice the Hum albums in stores on Friday. This is because only the black vinyl was made available to retail and the vinyl we are currently awaiting are the colored variants.
 

Yeah, this wasn't cheap. Shipping seems to be from Germany I suspect. Didn't like the price of $65 I think, but went for it anyway. Hoping Deliverance is next. 

Cool, I need a copy of Deliverance, so hopefully that is on its way as well.

Just bought a ticket to see Matt Talbott (of Hum) play a living room in a few weeks. I am beyond excited

for convenience, sure.  for sound quality, absolutely not.  and sound quality is going to win each and every time from my perspective.  especially knowing how meticulous Matt and company are when it comes to putting out top notch quality and the music as it's intended to be listened to.

YPAA at 45 RPM is an absolute no brainer! Lucky to have a pressing that Matt put out in 2013 and may have passed if it wasn't a 45 RPM. Certain to be killer! 

looks like only Electra and YPAA are 45rpm?  Regardless, went with the 4 album black bundle.  Can't wait to get these!

The 'Origami' box set is awesome. I may snag these reissues at some point cuz... I ❤️ LUSH
 

Such great albums.  I bought the box set years ago so I won’t need this but glad to see they are reissuing them.

USPS is making some changes on July 9th, 2023:
Priority Mail rates are getting up to $4.83 cheaper 🤑
First Class Package & Parcel Select Ground are merging into the new Ground Advantage name. The slower 2-5 day delivery speed stays the same—they're just changing the names.
Ground Advantage rates for packages under 1 pound (First Class Package) are staying the same 👍
Ground Advantage rates for packages over 1 pound (Parcel Select) are mixed—some rates are increasing up to $1.06, while others are decreasing up to $3.
Media Mail rates are increasing by 7% across the board.
Signature Confirmation is increasing to $3.40.
Everything else is staying the same 🥳

Love this album, already own the other repress, so will be skipping this one, awesome they pressed a few more. Such a low pressing number, I wonder what factory does such low numbers. 
 
PS. Repress the Rescue 

Went to the Cincy show and it was one of the most unique experiences ever.  I highly recommend catching one of these shows.  
 
I chatted with Matt a bit afterwards.  He said most likely a July preorder for the reissues, all going through Polyvinyl.  Some of the holdup has been cost because they’re releasing all 4 albums at the same time.  
 
I didn’t ask about a Jay print for them or any other details.

To anyone who successfully ordered T-Swift from Park Ave CDs: check your email. They’re offering to open your copy and send it in a poly sleeve because it’s apparently very prone to seam splits. You gotta respond by tomorrow afternoon if you want them to do it.
