You should all realize that labels such as SOS give you pressing information as a courtesy - we're not obligated to do so. We do it because we're vinyl collectors like the rest of you. While some of the members on here can be so brutally honest, we take what you say into consideration for future releases. No matter how you feel about Red Forest or any other release we have/will put out, we appreciate your feedback and support.

I know you've all have patiently been waiting, sitting by your computer on pins and needles for some type of answer... The second press has already been ordered and in production for quite some time now. Thus, we're not cutting a new lacquer or anything else that we have been suggested (or told to do). Sorry if you're not happy with that answer. We're not Hot Topic (sorry Travis, not trying to throw you in the mix here) where we can simply "fix" something after production has started, as it was said we do. And for the record, I have never said anything about putting out a faulty press. I don't appreciate words being put in my mouth or having an email between two people posted to message board 1 minute after it's sent either. Looking forward to see where this one goes.

Right now we don't have any extra jackets. If it turns into a bigger problem we'll look into getting some. We did have a few people ask to have the records shipped outside the jacket, which we did. If you ordered the second press and want us to do ship that way as well, just shoot us a message through the web store with your order number and let us know.

Yeah, the mix didn't come out as planned. If you hold the vinyl up to the light you can see where there was supposed to be clear. Still sounds good though!

And yes, the album cover is what we are using.

The prints will be a 3 color silk screen on 90 lb black paper which we will hand number. They will not be signed.

is the bundle option just coming with the artwork or is there a tshirt included too? The bundle this time around will be just for 12"x12" album art print - need to edit the webstore.

All US orders have been sent out as of this morning. The remaining international order will be sent out very soon as well. There were some orders where we weren't given a t-shirt size. We have reached out to all those people and as soon as we know the shirt size the package will go out - there are a couple US orders included in there (hopefully no one on here).

About 150 packages for the first pressing went to the post office this morning, and the rest will be going out tomorrow/Wednesday at the latest.

It's funny to see pictures of my own release online before I even have it in my hands. I'll see 'em in two more days though.

are there plans for any ohio shows when they get back from overseas ? I believe there are a couple being worked on, not confirmed though.

Print info - we're not 100% finalized yet, will have more for you soon. Pressing info - /200 of each new variant, so 400 total (plus overrun). Tour press - the band decided to keep it the same as the first press. This one is completely their decision. I talked to them about it, and they felt it should be kept the same since it's the "tour edition." It is another run of 100, so 200 total. Also, there was a slight overrun for the first press of the yellow & red (418 total). Once we have the vinyl in hand I will know the exact amount for each and i'll get those in the webstore so they can be snatched up by anyone that missed out and wants one.

We are going to be announcing the repress info later on this afternoon, but wanted to let you guys have a head's up. The pre-order for the repress will happen on Thursday, 4/19 (two weeks from today) at the Science of Silence webstore. We have two new variants to offer and a new bundle package as well. First variant is a Bone/Bronze mix, similar to the band tour edition. The second is a Color-in-Color with Milky Clear & Swamp Green. The bundle option is going to be a 12"x12" screen print of the album artwork. These orders will be fulfilled MUCH faster than the first pressing. They actually might start shipping the week following the pre-order since the turn around time was so much faster for the repress.

Me too when do these ship? I hate pre-orders. The vinyl is shipping from SF > NYC this week. The plan is to get all the orders boxed up and send out over the weekend. Once the first round of pre-orders are shipped out we will be announcing the repress info shortly after.

Sorry I should have specified. I meant are the tour presses ordered at the record release show being shipped with the normal preorders next week? The band are taking care of the tour presses that were sold at the release show. We are working to try and get them out before they leave for Europe. Not sure if is going to happen though.

These won't start getting shipped out until next weekend at the earliest - all depends when the vinyl get shipped out to NYC from the Pirates Press offices in SF (hopefully tomorrow for a mid-week delivery). There was another delay which has held this back yet again. We did however place the order for the repress this week. Once the first orders are taken care of we will announce all the pressing & pre-order info. We are very sorry about the delay, but there was nothing we could do about any of this. Even if we could, we wouldn't sacrifice the quality of the release just to get it out faster.
