I just can't help but laugh when variant collectors whine about labels pressing more variants. One copy of a record is good enough for me. I'd rather buy 20 good records than 1 record 20 times.

Iron Chic is really good too. Do they have any vinyl yet?

Being a big fan of Latterman and the post-Latterman bands I have heard, I want to see what related vinyl my collection is so far missing. I'm not interested in collecting every variant to that's not the purpose of my post. Just wondering what bands or releases I need to know about. Also not interested in stuff not available on vinyl. Latterman has 3 LPs. Shorebirds have 1 LP and a 7". Bridge & Tunnel have 1 LP and a 7" RVIVR has a new 7". Are there any other bands descended from Latterman that I have forgotten or don't know about?

I read the book but I think I missed something because I found it slow and boring. I bought it because the movie buzz seemed cool, I like Viggo, and No Country For Old Men. But I don't know... not convinced yet.

I'm making a renewed attempt to get my hands on a white whale of sorts. The band Captain Planet, the album "Wasser Kommt Wasser Geht". Is there anybody here from Germany, can read German, or even somewhere else in Europe who knows where I can order this album from? I'm having a difficult time navigating websites in German. I found the distro GRRR mailorder which seems to have it and I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate the cart. They also seem to list an original and a reissue and I can't tell what the reissue has that makes it more expensive. Any help much appreciated...

I got an email today saying my Gaslight Anthem 10" shipped. Regardless of that, I'm knocking on wood and keeping my fingers crossed. Not taking anything for granted.

So its ok to just keep putting out the same record with 4 variants for every pressing. Then change the cover artwork as long as people are buying right? It's not breaking any laws. But I'm voting with my wallet and not buying it.

i see the new bruises cover on there, now i realize why its so familiar. Fact this guy did art for both Anchor Arms and Anchor Down isn't going to do me any favours keeping the two bands straight.

Anchor Down looks short for an LP. Is it single sided? Nevertheless the awesome contests surrounding these might tip the scales towards me buying both of these albums.

Raised Fist is by far my favourite.

I bought a few of the pic discs about 2 years ago because that's all that was available. Buying the represses recently is the first time I've ever bought the "same album" twice. Now I'd love to get rid of those pic discs, although they might look good framed one day.

I remember "Darkness" being a song from the Crow soundtrack. One of the good hidden gems from that band.

Rhymesayers has some nice vinyl with the last couple even being on coloured vinyl which is unusual for hip hop.

At first I thought about the band called Orange too. Man what a shitty piece of shit that band was (is?). My respect for Tim Armstrong went down a permanent notch with that signing. To add to the list, I have Rehasher and Chuch Ragan LPs on transparent orange. I'd consider trading either.

I was just looking at the Smallman website, and their store is MyMerchTable, and that place doesn't stock the vinyl, only the CD. Look under Smallman Records or look under Vinyl and in both cases it's not there.
