  1. yeah, apparently its been the same core four members since the beginning with occasional collaborations. kind of the exact way TSOAF operates. i personally love the new song. its way more straight forward. i never really liked the self-titled record, but have loved everything else.
  2. Rich Balling Matt Embree Matthew Kelly David Embree Guests: Vindsval Colin Marston William Fowler Collins
  3. can't wait. i also love that they've finally taken a band photo. pretty funny that its basically the same band as The Sound of Animals Fighting. i always knew about rich balling/matt kelly being involved with this but i had no idea matt embree was the guitarist
  4. when some of us live in big cities, it helps a shit load to have tracking numbers. that way, we know when to look out for the package so that it doesn't get stolen or so that our property managers don't assume the package has been sitting there for days and send it back. also, if people are posting that they've received theirs, others are obviously going to state if they haven't.
  5. still haven't received mine. it says shipped on my order status but i have no idea when it was shipped because RFC doesn't do delivery confirmation/tracking numbers?
  6. either way, i'm glad it was repressed and i spent $50 in their webstore tonight. i just figured i would give some customer feedback while they were reading.
  7. you're right, it looks like it took about a month for it to sell out; however, it was during the week of the album stream that it sold out. so its very possible that the majority of those copies were scooped up by already existing fans of the band and label. which is cool and that's how the world works, but it also shut out a lot of others who were willing to buy it at the time.
  8. no, i totally get that. but surely that can't be the case every time they press something. like i said, the first pressing of Heaven was like 250 copies, sold out insanely quick (before most people had a chance to discover the band), and took six months to launch another really small pre-order. couldn't that have been avoided if they pressed more the first time around?
  9. wasn't the first pressing only 250 copies? so, ~600 copies across two pressings for a band that's getting really popular? still pretty limited, in my opinion. don't get me wrong, i'm a big fan of handful of your releases and wouldn't even have heard them if it wasn't for your label, but its just a major turnoff knowing that i have to be stalking the internet during the first week of pre-orders just to get my hands on a physical copy. nor can i really recommend friends to the webstore because there isn't anything left for them to buy most of the time. myself and a handful of others would have gladly bought that Bilinda Butchers album six months ago had the 250 copies not sold out before most of us even had a chance to listen to a digital copy.
  10. 150 copies is insanely limited considering there is a much larger demand and it can actually cost more to press in more limited quantities. there are countless small labels who do 500-1000 copy pressings.
  11. grabbed heaven and ontario gothic because i'm tired of missing out on these ridiculously limited pressings.
  12. this is one of those artists who i'm glad i got into before people starting flipping records that were pressed in quantities of thousands for absurd prices. i'm pretty sure there was a big repress of his discography around 2009/2010 and i was able to pick them all up locally. it sucks that people are asking that much though considering its not very limited
  13. anyone like Saåad? some great drone here. looks like all mp3 downloads are free and there are some vinyl links as well. http://saaad.bandcamp.com/music
  14. The Silent Ballet's "best of 2014" list is starting to get put up. not all of it is ambient, but i always find an insane amount of good stuff on here each year. http://fragileorpossiblyextinct.com/forpe-presents-the-silent-ballets-top-albums-of-2014/
  15. did anyone manage to get the sleeves back in the jacket without fucking up one of the corners (of the sleeves)? unfortunately, i did not.
  16. does anyone know if a vinyl pressing for the Panopticon remaster is in the works? or a repress of wavering radiant?
  17. i bought a black copy at a shop. this jacket is weirdly tall, as someone already mentioned. and yeah, its more difficult than usual trying to get the sleeves back in. i planned on bringing all of my purchases back in a large LP mailer but this thing doesn't fit O_o
  18. i thought "deep six" was the only re-listenable track on the album.
  19. i thought the whole album was only slightly better than Born Villain. this guy just needs to stop.
  20. if anyone happened to order an extra and wants to sell it to an idiot who decided not to buy it when he had the chance, let me know
  21. all variants from every pressing of Native's Wrestling Moves appear to be in stock, for those who missed out the first time. they'll be like $9 with that promo code today
