NEW MELVINS. OLD MELVINS. ALL THINGS MELVINS.
Spirit-Crusher replied to rickker's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I got my re repress of senile animal. They sent me another fucked up one. I contacted ipecac and they said the manufacturer must of slipped some old ones in there. Sure. Heads up to anyone ordering one. -
How did you find Vinyl Collective?
Spirit-Crusher replied to loren's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I've been trying to acquire a vinyl copy of Corrosion of Conformity's Deliverance for over a decade. I always miss out. Decided to google about it recently, and found a thread here talking about a preorder for a rerelease. Finally, one of my whales will be mine for a fair retail price. I immediately signed up. -
PO: Isis - Panopticon (REMASTERED)
Spirit-Crusher replied to Evoke's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Panopticon is one of my favorite albums of all time. Its definitely top 5 if you're on a deserted island. I own the original vinyl and cd but saw my local shops has a few of these remastered copies in stock. Do they sound any different? Any reason to triple dip on this? -
The official Horror fan topic
Spirit-Crusher replied to Rip's topic in Everything Else Message Board
I went to the Thursday premiere like I've done for every Halloween film released in the last 20 years. I was super stoked because I really liked 2018. I was extremely disappointed as soon as the end credits rolled. I couldn't fathom how they could include all that horrible dialogue. It was straight cringe. It really felt like Jamie Lee made them put all her woke agenda driven social commentary. Seriously, kill her off already so we don't have to suffer from that bullshit in the next installments. Visually it looked great. Carpenter is still a legend, but I did prefer his 2018 score more. I watched it again at home and enjoyed it a lot more, just rolling my eyes at the cheesy dialogue. "Evil dies tonight", ok we get it. The bluray comes out in January and it includes an extended ending that they cut because of where they've decided to go in ENDS. I read the script, after the shape kills Karen, Laurie tries calling her from the hospital. The shape answers the phone, and just breathes into the phone. Lauries says she's going to kill him, and grabs the knife from the hospital room and heads out into the town.
