Took a long time to finally track down Anberlin's Stranger Ways 7" for a not too insane price. That finally arrived today, and completed my Anberlin collection. All variants, and all comps (only two that I know of). This also includes the RSD versions of Cities and NTFP (left) and the 2012 reissues (right), which are pretty much identical. The only difference being the RSD versions have a slightly creamy look to the covers, while the reissues are a more pure white. Also included is the vinyl/CD hybrid thing with the I'd Like to Die B-Side on it.

Totally! I actually find it pretty funny when people are up in arms over livestreams being prerecorded. It makes almost no difference and will likely only make it a better stream. 

There's a video of Stephen (maybe from Cameo?) where he says this one is being prerecorded bc of the tour.

My deluxe book version of the record showed up. Wrapped in bubble wrap and in a plastic bag. I'm amazed the only damage was a small seam split on one side, so I'll count myself lucky. Prior to this I had no complaints from Second City. Seeing everyone's complaints about them confused me since everything I'd ordered prior had arrived packaged so well. Until now 🤣

Definitely annoying. Ask for a refund if the USPS has it more than 10 days. Unless it was priority express, in which case you/webstore are already entitled to a refund from the USPS. Not the web store's fault, but hopefully they would refund you and request a refund from the USPS for the postage they paid out.

Don't delete them!  This is a super good PSA.  I'm waiting on my 5th replacement, myself, and was on the verge of outing them for their bullshit but didn't have the spine.  Thank you for being braver than I could be.  It's time that these money-hungry labels are held accountable.
 
Initial sleeve: part of the shrink was opened up near the corner.  1 corner was rounded.  Demanded a refund.
2nd replacement sleeve: looked pretty good but when I peeked inside the sleeve, I found some paper remnants.  Who knows where they could've come from.  Not risking it.
3rd sleeve: showed up in a mailer that had a footprint on one side.  Didn't even open it up to see the damage.  Bad energy, easy pass.
4th sleeve: wasn't numbered, and didn't lay completely flat on top of my coffee table which is kind of unacceptable in 2021 if you stop and think about it.
 
So, fifth time is a charm.  I should know by Friday if my tracking # is to be believed.  I know it seems like a massive pain in the dick and completely unnecessary to hassle such a small label – and yeah, it probably passes the buck to future customers who get to pay extra, to ensure my next crusade for the perfect sleeve is worked into their MSRP down the road – but I mean, really, this is Yellowcard we're talking about.  Ocean Avenue is a landmark album that needs to be archived for future generations.  Future civilizations.  If it's not going to be framed in a museum with a flawless jacket, why even bother?  May as well just throw it on a record shelf and spin it on occasion like some kind of barbarian.
 
Keep up the good fight, comrade.  Give me my immaculate copy, or give me death!  Or at least a 15% coupon for my next order.  Any one of those is actually fine.

Agreed, I loved this album, especially the deluxe reissue version. I'm dreaming, but it'd be fun to see them finish out the series with the new album, but who knows where they are in the process with that. 

Haven't posted in here since moving to my new house last summer, but here is my current setup, have a good amount more in a 5x5 expedit in another room, but that's for overflow 😆

LTJ were teasing a new test press on Instagram a couple days ago as well as teasing a Nan Coffey version of the Losing Streak art. Since this year is the 25th Anniversary for LS, I wonder if we're about to see a reissue for it?

That would be my guess. Finish out livestreams and maybe announce the album when they get to Lowborn and then do a livestream on or after the release date?
They confirmed on one of the first couple livestreams that they had already been on working on a  new album for a while now. Don't think it's been mentioned in the more recent streams.
