  1. Saturday's show was just as good as I expected it to be. So glad I was able to make it to two of these shows. Definitely needed more than one set to fully absorb what I was witnessing.
  2. You should be good. I've never been to a show there where they didn't allow it. I'd ask at the door to be safe. You might need to get a stamp/wristband from the bar or something.
  3. Coming from the same time and same place as almighty BROTHERHOOD – true legends and pioneers of the Seattle Straight Edge in the late 80s. They introduced the idea of being drug-free and gave their 100% support to younger kids in the local scene who were excited to start their own straight edge band - REFUSE. They started in 1988 and next year they recorded and released a demo tape with eight fast, positive and energetic songs filled with youthful enthusiasm. Their simple but sincere lyrics encompass issues like drinking, drug abuse, friendship, unity and wearing the X to ‘keep the fight alive’. A true statement by these 15 year old kids. Their only vinyl appearance was “Voice of thousand” compilation LP on Conversion Records with the song "Trust" taken from their demo. After playing with Brotherhood at their reunion show in March 1990 at Washington Hall, Seattle, the band changed their name to UNDERTOW and became one of the most important figures in the North West HardCore scene of the 90’s. Some members were active later also in the bands like NINEIRONSPITFIRE, TEN YARD FIGHT, ENSIGN or THE HELM. REFUSE demo ‘89 coming out on vinyl now for the first time and it contains a 12 page booklet with an article by Robert Forbes and Jeff Terranova and interviews with the band from fanzines like Good & Plenty, Free Thought and Open Hand. Remastered by Smok / Studio As One. Vinyl edition layout by Jarosław Składanek. Carefully unearthed piece of history of the late 80s straight edge HC explosion and pioneering times of the NWHC scene! 1-2-3-go! https://refuserecords.bandcamp.com/album/demo-89-12 Test Pressing /25 Yellow /120 Black /380
  4. I was going to take a picture for you but forgot. Several shirt designs and a hoodie, an 18x24 print for the show, a tote, a patch, last show DVD. Vinyl wise, they had the Romans reissue and Nervoso, but I couldn't see what colors each was.
  5. Yeah, that's about all I want. And I don't have the time or energy to go wait in line for it.
  6. A friend had an extra ticket to this Friday's show, so looks like I am seeing them twice in the span of a week. This is all still pretty surreal.
  7. There has never been a more accurate summary of Ben's music. That's some consistency! Really like the new song. Might need to grab tickets for his Seattle date in August.
  8. That's exactly what my wife said when we watched the video.
  9. Has anybody listened to the gold metallic Target exclusive yet? I have one set for in-store pickup this afternoon, and I'm curious about the sound quality. I've seen a few reports stating the clear Indie version is pretty noisy.
  10. I'll trade my copy of the flexi for Ain't It Fun 😘
  11. Sounds about right. Anytime I see that term used, its usually to defend scumbags who got caught/outed, or just called out for being shitty.
  12. Also, the flexis are currently going for $180-$200 on Discogs/Ebay. lol
  13. Same here. We hit a spot outside of Seattle and it wasn't bad at all, though I am sure the locations in the city were a bit busier. We showed up an hour early (Poor me, I had to spend extra time at a record store 🤣) and were the first ones to get wrist bands. People walking in right before start time still managed to snag copies.
  14. $35 shipped for a 5 song 12" EP hurts my soul. I did it... but still.
  15. So, I got to hear the album in it's entirely last night at a local shop, which was hosting a listening party. I definitely need to listen to it again in a more controlled environment, but overall, I thought it was pretty decent. My six year old got to be first in line for the free flexi and poster giveaway, so she was really excited about that.
  16. Militarie Gun, Spiritual Cramp, Supercrush, and Spiral XP in Seattle tonight. Should be a good old time.
  17. https://www.altpress.com/dustin_kensrue_thrice_frontman_resigns_from_mars_hill_church_in_light_of_sc/ Indeed. But it sounds like he's still religious personally, at least.
  18. Bandcamp Pledges for a repress went live this morning, and its already 600%+ funded. Pledge window is open for 30 days. https://kimyadawson1.bandcamp.com/album/remember-that-i-love-you
