  1. Whoa, just checked my email and same. Pleasantly surprised considering I ordered on a Friday night.
  2. Wow, so there's 18 copies, active, on ebay and another 8 have already sold on there. Why do people suck so goddamn much?
  3. I am in the same boat, as well. It was their first 4 that were absolutely perfect to me. I've enjoyed a few songs here and there since then, but their newer albums as a whole do not hit me the same as they once did in their early years.
  4. I really hope someone doesn't drop that kind of money on that. To each their own but, woof, fairly outrageous.
  5. Yup, some schmuck already has the 'MITM' variant listed for $250. Cuz why not??
  6. Awesome album, but this may be a hard one to track down. The only pressing exists from the box set put out in 2014, so you'd have to find someone willing to break up the set. Not impossible, but will be a toughie!
  7. Yikes, people really shouldn't be paying secondhand when this is in stock, new on clear green vinyl, at Victory right meow: https://victoryrecords.com/products/hawthorne-heights-if-only-you-were-lonely-green-vinyl/
  8. Oh boy another band from almost 20 years ago that decided to 're-imagine' their songs. Is there really that much of an audience where these bands need to keep doing this? Or is it purely a 'we made a shitty deal with a shitty label when we were young and cant afford the licensing to the originals' type thing?
  9. First album since 2014's 'Shattered'. Comes out May 21st on Merge. What a time to be alive! https://www.mergerecords.com/product/a_little_more_time_with_reigning_sound
  10. Ah yes. Simpler times. The lack of shit given for this album when it came out reminded me of the divide of Jawbreaker fans after 'Dear You' came out. The vocals, major label, yadda yadda yadda. Such a fucking great album, imo. 'Morning in the Moonlight' is still a top 10 STD song for me.
  11. Thats a damn shame, you may have gotten a dud. I picked up a yellow copy from Zia on Friday and spun it that night with no issues.
  12. It can be a split with Ian Watkins and Harvey Weinstein can produce their music videos!
  13. Fuuuuuuuck yes. Been thinking about spending too much money on a copy of this recently. Sold my red copy back in '14 for almost nothing 😪
  14. Anyone know the status on these? Not in a super rush to get it, but we are beyond the 'late October/early November' window and haven't heard a peep. 🤷‍♂️
  15. Also a new press up for preorder, /250: https://goodrecordstogo.myshopify.com/products/tripping-daisy-jesus-hits-like-the-atom-bomb-sonic-bloom-edition-pre-order?fbclid=IwAR0C2fgrasjkx5bG_huS5EXsqaAeBsZPOtpVJDL-FRgV5cIuPgHMICodkWU
  16. Got this in the mail today and they sure went all out. Comes with a couple stickers, and an OBI strip mentioning future reissues of Bill, IAEF, and Self Titled! Sounds phenomenal, really quiet and well pressed. A+ all around
  17. Long wait or not, extremely excited for this one, especially with the bonus material 🙏 what time do these go up?? I may have missed it, but didn't see a time.
  18. Boom baby! 🤩🤩 goes on sale Friday https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1439328796273615&substory_index=0&id=176834699189704
  19. Waiting with baited breath for this one. One of my all time favs along with Broadcaster.
  20. Finally listened to this. Sounds pretty good overall, but has some small crackling on quieter parts, especially the B side for me. 'Sad Songs and Waltzes' suffers from it the most, imo, as it is one of the mellower songs on the album. Hard to notice once the songs get moving on most tracks beyond that. I only have a brush and liquid at the moment, so it may benefit from a good wash. No skips for me, just that sweet, crackly "warmth". Small tick sound on every rotation ONLY on the intro of 'I Will Survive'; didn't notice it as the song picked up or elsewhere on the album. Some sibilance on my copy during 'Stickshifts and Safetybelts', but in all fairness John Mcrea enunciates the hell out of those S sounds in the recording anyways. Only noticed issues with it in that one song 🤷‍♂️ Low end sounds excellent to me, which is essential for Cake; the bass really stands out. Stays true to the stellar production on this album. Disc is sturdy and flat with a quality jacket as well. Not a perfect press, but the sound is pretty darn good in it's entirety. Very happy with the purchase, even at $30 for a frill-less unofficial press. Compared to some hip hop uo I have, looking at you 'Yeezus' 🙄, this is leaps and bounds better and is closer to the quality of a lazy pressing from the label.
