  2. Figure Eighter - People's Last Words Are Often Insignificant (LP/cassette/digital)

    https://fuzzrecords.bandcamp.com/album/peoples-last-words-are-often-insignificant

Figure Eighter is an ambient collaboration between two people; Douglas Dulgarian (Jouska / they are gutting a body of water) and Nick Shattell (Not An Airplane). It began with exploration of procedure as the primary focus, as opposed to attempting to sculpt with a final product in mind. Utilizing tape loops, arena spaces and the reverberating qualities of those spaces, backwards playback and more, People’s Last Words Are Often Insignificant reads like a calendar year lost in thought, reflecting on experience.

  3. Out now on Fuzz Records, "Always On The Cool", the debut EP from Albany, NY's Spell Runner. A fast paced mix of old school punk, psychedelic and surf rock.

They've garnered some attention from sites like No EchoCVLT Nation and Kerrang!

  4. Thanks, and no worries...  now I'm subscribed to this thread so hopefully I'll catch the next one!  (But if you've got any extras of the coloured AWNM? or Love Their Country I'd certainly take them off your hands! ;) )

I ordered (and received) AWNM? on pink swirl about a month ago from Amazon. Its still listed as 'Limited Edition/Pink Vinyl'. Might be worth a shot.

  6. One or two of you might know (probably not) that I opened a record store (Fuzz Records) in Albany, NY about a year ago. Either way, I'm pretty stoked to announce that I've started a label with a friend of mine. Our first release is Maggot Brain - Stop and Breathe. Check out their Bandcamp. The records are in transit. Once they get here and make sure they aren't broken or anything, we'll have them for sale here.

In addition to putting out a record we really dig, we're really excited that Maggot Brain and another local band, HUSH were able to get Kowloon Walled City and Zozobra to make one of their stops on their short east coast tour in Albany. If you live anywhere near Albany, please come out. Details if you care.
  7. but there is no benefit except the seller's pocket. I may as well sell all my stuff that way, I am sure i'll get more money that way right?

It seems like an unnecessary waste of time having moderators come up with a bunch of rules and guidelines for raffles. If the seller has to come up with a price cap, why don't they just list the item for that much in a sales thread? If no one bites, reconsider the price or move it to an auction on eBay.
