I have been meaning to grab one of those clamps as well. I have a handful of minor warped records that skip due to it not being flat down on the platter. The YouTube video review I saw was great and the price isn't bad at all.

Chaz is my boy! He has done a ton of work on me every time he comes up to Portland. I'm glad he is getting these shirts printed.

My go to hot sauce is Secret Aardvark! I love that stuff and it's made in Portland as well so I can get it for like 5 bucks a bottle. Honestly, sriracha is only good on Chinese food. I really like this golden habanero hot sauce called Iguana hot sauce. I'm not really a fan of hot sauces that taste too much like vinager.

I really like those Title Fight songs they did

I bought a pair of demo 220s off Music Direct not too long ago. They were $279 shipped and even though they were demos, they look and sound flawless! I really really like them. But again, I haven't heard the 10.1s though. The only thing I'd say that lacks is probably the bass. Not too much though, just me pointing a weakness. I also have them plugged into a Marantz PM6005 amp.

I sure wish BTR were doing the vinyl preorders. Merchnow could just have those silly shirt/skateboard bundles. Ohh well, I'll just wait for Amazon or HT just like most of you.

My blue copy sounds great. Just had a chance to listen to it. Honestly I didn't even mind the gaps between the songs. Didn't bother me at all.

I have my knee done by him as well. But I would get so many tattoos by him if I lived near Hold It Down. The dude has so many great music suggestions and stories. Especially all the bands in the Scranton / Wilkes Barre area.

Not too much. He does a few guest spots here and there but mostly he works in Richmond, VA. He comes to Portland once a year though so that's tight.

Just got a few from Josh Stephens. He made a trip out to Portland again! This time I got my elbow done and a title fight tattoo.

I haven't done this upgrade, but I saw some IKEA LED strips a few days ago and they looked like they would work well. They are flexible and have an adhesive backing so they would stick well to the base of the turntable. The set I saw also had a dial that would switch the colors. I think the set was around $30?

Not bad! I have yet to see anything from the RX line for sale locally. It's usually just a lot of Polk and Paradigm products.

Yeah the pair I saw sold for 215 shipped but they were kinda beat and the tweater had been replaced. But I really do like those floorspeakers so I'll keep an eye out for those.

There was a cheap set of used RX1s on Audiogon last month back but I opted for the Wharfedale 220s instead. I should have snagged them though.
