  1. Played right before a commercial break during the Michigan v. South Dakota State basketball game in the 2013 tournament. I've been trying to figure out the name of this song for my friend for a really long time now and all I have are the lyrics. Thanks in advance for your help! Lyrics: Look away nothing stays forever Don't be shy say goodbye, you'll never love me.
  2. I guess I've been pretty lucky...I've never had a problem with this living in Michigan.
  3. Flipped. Flipped is awesome. You will like Flipped. Edit: Also would be seriously GREAT as a date movie! My girlfriend is in love with this movie, so speaking from experience
  4. I rented it off Amazon Instant Video for $2.99 if that doesn't work out for you.
  5. Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon A mockumentary set in a world where killers like Freddie, Jason, and Chucky are real. A documentary crew follows around a man hoping to become a legend like them as he prepares for the night that will make him into just that. It's part parody/dark comedy/horror film. Pretty good for anyone who loves those old slasher films!
  6. Like Crazy is too real...depressing as fuck.
  7. Is there commentary on the netflix episodes? That'd be awesome to watch them like that.
  8. just finished rewatching all 7 seasons of this on netflix...i think it might have been even funnier the 2nd time through hah! i love how good rob wells is at randomly saying wrong words in the funniest way.
  9. From what I've heard/read, it has more to do with the fact that they can't build a nuclear warhead that's small enough to fit on an intercontinental missile. As far as China siding with them, I think that they back them more for the sake of themselves. Think about it: If North Korea collapsed, where would all of those citizens go? Not South Korea, so who's the other border? China. Anyway, it's late and I'd probably say more if it wasn't, but North Korea is really quite fascinating except for the fact that their citizens are basically held captive by the state...
  10. I've been wanting to try using a single-blade safety razor. Heard that they last for a really long time, so you're not constantly buying cartridges, and that way they're also a lot more environmentally friendly. Also, they don't cause the irritation, razor burn, ingrown hairs, etc since they're not using multiple blades to rip the hair out. Of course they're harder to shave with and require multiple passes, but in the end is a more quality shave and better for your skin. If you're interested in it, you could check out this article on Art of Manliness: http://www.artofmanliness.com/2008/01/04/how-to-shave-like-your-grandpa/
  11. Yeah not very fun. At least you had that luxury though haha. Kind of weird thinking about the fact that so many people have such extreme pain when it bursts, but other times you just don't know it. I never realized til I was older just how serious it was that I waited so long to go...it's freaky looking back on it now.
  12. I had my appendix burst when I was in 8th grade and we thought it was the flu for 2 weeks after it had burst before I finally went to the doctors. I was super dehydrated so I was rushed to the hospital and had fluids put in me. Spent 5 days in the hospital unable to walk, eat or drink anything. Was on IV's constantly, and "drank" water with a tiny sponge on a stick. And every night of it I would have crazy fever dreams. I also had surgery to put a tube in my ass cheek to drain the excess pus from when my appendix burst so I wouldn't get infected. Then I laid around at home with IV's in half the time with pain medication pretty much dying for another month before I had the surgery to have it removed, but still had the tube in my ass. Finally, I had the tube removed and felt it pull out through my body which almost made me pass out. It was awful.
  13. basically ripped a bunch of his own fans off by "selling" them macbooks and then never sending them. plus, it's kind of ridiculous to begin with that he would be asking for $20,000 for an EP. this pretty much sums it up, with the answer to the question below being no. no they do not have a problem for some reason.
  14. people are just really fucking stupid: http://propertyofzack.com/post/45995938209/jonny-craig-funds-20-000-indiegogo-campaign
  15. wow, kind of surprised...i thought conventional weapons was their best work in a quite a while.
  16. Now I see why everyone on this board likes you so much haha! This has definitely been discussed as a back-up plan though. The groom himself told me that everyone expects me to be wasted...maybe I'll just keep a flask on me for after the speech
  17. Haha! The funny thing is that I can picture that happening to the maid of honor at this wedding. Thanks a lot for the advice though, it's always good to hear from someone with experience. I know that I shouldn't be too nervous considering it's two of my best friends geting married. Should be a good time, but I will probably, definitely, be back in this thread when it gets closer!
  18. Yeah, the bridesmaid thing is all worked out, but it's the definitely the speech i'm worried about. I wish I could just retake a speech class so I could practice public speaking again. Well, that and the fact that those 2 events happening at the same time completely conflict each other haha.
  19. yeah, guess i could have looked that up haha. was hoping for some crazy splatter or something.
  20. wow, i'm really bored and in the middle/tail-end of an all-nighter to finish a physic's research paper.
  21. I really hope the Bears keep Brian Urlacher...I grew up with them, and he's pretty much the only guy left after they let Olin Kreutz go.. /nostalgia Anyways, the only thing I miss about not having a TV in my apartment is watching sports.
