father's office has arguably the best burger in LA. they got cool beers there too. i go to the culver city one but i'm sure the santa monica one is dope too. they check id at the door too.

my thoughts exactly. it had been a while since i've seen any alien movies and i totally forgot that it was supposed to be a prequel so with that going into the movie made me like it a lot. i can see how lots of people would be disappointed if they expected a direct alien prequel. even on the wikipedia page it says that it was meant for the same alien universe but ultimately they were trying to do something different with it. I enjoyed it a lot. and yeah there was definitely lots of cheesy parts.

What I'm surprised about is that the orders are still up. I saw them put the orders up on May 1st and it still seems like they're not sold out yet. but yeah come to think of it, the price is a bit steep.
