  1. I'm on my third listen now and I'm just really impressed with how cohesive this record is. The order of the songs (both as a whole and as different sides of the records) works beautifully and despite the length there isn't really any obvious filler. The non-single songs are growing quickly on me and I'm catching new things I like with every listen. There's a lot of variety, but it's held together by the drums and Nate's low end. I just kinda wanna listen to it all day long and have to force myself not to in order to maintain that sweet rush of discovery. I'm definitely putting that poster up over my bed, too; I don't care what my wife says.
  2. It's a massive album, a real listening journey and a lot to digest. They really went all out on this one. I don't want to give anything away, but I hope one day I'll get to see them perform the whole thing in full. The epic duel guitar hook at the very end by itself should be worth the price of admission.
  3. I got a shipping notice for the black pressing. I think they said somewhere that they would start shipping on 5/13, so it's awesome (and, yeah, totally out of the ordinary these days) that they're able to stay on schedule. Can't wait to hear the whole thing!
  4. I was a fan of Milhouse (if you haven't check out Obscenity in the Milk) before Artie joined Indecision and I think I was even at the first or one of the first shows he played with the band. I prefer Tom's vocals overall, but I don't mind Artie's at all and I don't think he deserves the antipathy he's received over the years. It's not like he forcefully pushed Tom out; he stepped in to keep the band going. It's just too bad there never was another Milhouse record.
  5. Looking forward to seeing those! I have the Exit pressing but would love to have a remaster as well. Indecision were hugely important to me as a teen who was just learning what DIY really meant. I still have a long interview somewhere that I did via email with Justin sometime in 1996 or 1997 which was intended for a zine but ended up never getting published.
  6. I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation yet and the last time I ordered from them it also took at least a week or more. I wouldn't sweat it.
  7. A few notable death metal releases: Dark Descent and MSUO released a new batch yesterday (and MSUO still has the colored variants at https://www.mesacounojo.com/, DD sold out pretty quickly). New Chaotian and Ataraxy full lengths plus the Druid Lord/ Anatomia split. All top shelf DM releases, mandatory stuff. DD also started preorders for the new Desolate Shrine, another great band. Also Night Shroud and Extremely Rotten (David from Undergang's label/store) just finally released the Tetralogy of Death comp featuring Deiquisitor, Taphos, Phrenelith and Undergang. Night Shroud still has the gray marble. https://extremelyrottenprod.com/ https://nightshroud.bigcartel.com/
  8. Right on. And now we wait for Time & Space on Yellow Storm ...
  9. Yeah ... this comment is aging poorly as well. (But then again so am I.)
  10. I wouldn't be surprised if smaller quantities become available again. Some fool probably tried to buy 100 😂
  11. This is very cool (and the price of it is actually reasonable for an original artwork): https://integrity.bandcamp.com/merch/hand-drawn-test-press-lp-integrity-systems-overload Massively important album, probably still their best.
  12. Home is Where repress looking good: https://homeiswhere.bandcamp.com/album/i-became-birds?from=fanpub_fb_merch Also Hatred Surge on yellow from Iron Lung: https://ironlungrecords.bandcamp.com/album/human-overdose-lungs-041?from=fanpub_fnb_merch
  13. Oh man this is good and I'm a big Trial fan, but almost $25 shipped from Australia (without knowing when it will actually make it here) is a dealbreaker. Perhaps someone will reissue this stateside at some point.
  14. No pics but its' a clear orange/ goldish color /300 and unlike the second press (which is all I have to compare it to) the cover has a matte rather than a glossy finish, which is kinda cool. They also have some cool shirts and a "Enough Said" crew neck, which I bought and now won't be able to wear until the fall haha. And sorry Willow-Tree, didn't see your post until the morning after the BK show, otherwise I would've picked one up for you.
  15. Also Liar's Invictus under the exclusives (original master, rev exclusive /150) for you H8000 fans. Glad I happened to see that.
  16. I'm not counting on seeing any vinyl by the time they make it to Brooklyn. It also looks like tickets for their shows on the secondary now go for roughly the price of one of the colored variants. I was thinking of going to Brooklyn Steel in addition to the Queens show but not for $165.
  17. Which one was the festival version, the translucent wavy gold or a special edition not listed on the Gilead site? All three versions there are still available, so you could double up and hope another color plays better. Btw, upon first listen this is a really solid collab effort. There were some parts where I thought I kinda heard that before from Thou, but also a bunch of heavy stand-out moments, e.g. the second song.
  18. Just got mine. Haven't played them yet but 123go uses cheap square mailers and both of the records arrived with 2 corner dings each. Amateur packaging, super disappointing. Will avoid going forward. Edit: For what it's worth the NoFX sounds ok. Some surface noise but nothing crazy.
  19. Incantation Blasphemy repress up for preorder at Hells Headbangers. https://shop-hellsheadbangers.com/incantation-blasphemy-vinyl.asp
  20. Long shot, but why not. Below are a few variants of my all-time favorites that have so far eluded me. Go ahead, make my day. Cave In Beyond Hypothermia OG (any), Until Your Heart Stops OG (any non-black color), Jupiter OG (any non-black color) Coalesce 012 OG (clear pink or clear red), Last Call 10" (any uniquely shaped variant) His Hero Is Gone 15 Counts OG (orange/ blue or red) Deadguy Fixation OG (purple marbled or grey) Disembodied If God Only Knew OG 10" (purple), Heretic OG (grey marble) Piebald When Life Hands You Lemons OG (green) Botch Faction tour edition, Nineironspitfire split (clear) TITD Temple of the Morning Star OG (Clear) Bloodlet Entheogen OG (purple translucent or NM/NM black) Intronaut Void (silver)
  21. He did a whole tour with Quicksand as their second guitarist and it didn't sound like a one-off at the time, though it might have been.
