  1. Yeah, definitely lathe cuts for that short of a run. There's a few options for that. Haven't used any personally, but have heard good things: http://www.lathecuts.com http://www.tangibleformats.com/ http://meeprecords.com/
  2. Me too, I was just thinking about them the other day.
  3. Word, super stoked they're doing this. I also never had an copy of this on vinyl myself, excited to get on this.
  4. That title track is the most annoyingly repetitive song they've ever done. Some of the choruses on the new album get a bit repetitive, but that track grates the hell out of me.
  5. Oh yeah, Mightier Than The Sword. I forget about them sometimes. That label had a few bands that fizzled. Think he also had a hand in Academy Fight Song.
  6. Seems like deathwish runs a lot of stuff through them too. But yeah, as you mentioned with Fat, lots of volume for them too.
  7. 'Cause I'd like to support the artist. I don't think I'd use it for anything other than fun stuff. I could edit it myself, but I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that. Besides, a lot went into that type design. The serif points are a lot sharper too.
  8. Really tempted to buy the font, actually. Met Nick at X-Mas party recently, great dude.
  9. Just got mine on Monday, but it was worth the wait. I did order on December 9th, pretty crazy. I was just about to email them about it too.
  10. I hope that most people would only use "Haters gonna hate" in a strictly ironic sense. But hey, it's like the easiest form of deflection out there.
  11. Yeah, I remember seeing that posted on AbsolutePunk's main page in October.
  12. If it adds to the release or matches the artwork, I'm all for that. But a lot of the aesthetic choices ETR makes seem arbitrary.
  13. Totally, definitely not accusing you of doing so. I appreciate that you're conscious of your pricing too. I really enjoyed the Acceptance reissue, my brother surprised me with it as a b-day gift. I just remember seeing some of the ETR PO's announced, looking at them and thinking "Well, that could cost less if all the variants weren't splatters." or if the gatefold was axed. We've fallen privy to that extravagance pitfall as well. But we do our best to make releases affordable while maximizing the profit we donate to charity.
  14. Yeah, that'd be pretty hefty. The rest is likely his profit. And the costs can also jump a lot by doing some of the color effects he does, and gatefolds.
  15. Same here, and definitely a portion of the proceeds to charity since we're already an outlet for charity. I think ETR was the first time I saw someone selling their own test presses in their online store. This is a bummer to hear about though. Ross was very understanding when I had to wait a few days on some shipping supplies to send out his order.
  16. Yeah, Max doesn't have any control over what Doghouse decides to put out. Totally separate entities, they just pay him royalties that would have been the similar if they did a simple repress. I'm certain they would have preferred to have a repress to sell on the 10th anniversary tour.
