The intro to +44's when your heart stops beating does the same thing, I believe. Just starts mid-guitar riff. I think the album has a great intro, and obviously you're going to be paying the most attention to the beginning because you've just put the record on, so it's impossible not to notice, and every time it just starts the record off with a minor disappointment. I have chase, too, and I didn't notice anything, last I recall...I'll have to check it out--I'm not a super fan of this album, so I easily could have just not noticed or thought I set the needle wrong or something.

thanks! i personally like the way the swirl goes with the cover. agreed. Love it when they make the interesting color the most available and limit the black the most. Even though in this case I could see preferring just plain black, that way usually those who care about color get what they want, and those who care about rarity either get what they want. or are just sad to have missed out.

Unless you're collecting every variant, I don't see color of album being all that relevant. I'd be more excited that you can actually own the album at a reasonable price and not be so butthurt about which color you get. Well, I'm only partially annoyed that I don't get the color (and who knows how it'll actually turn out anyway), but primarily annoyed at the low pressing number. Obviously I'm not in the business, but I just don't see the incentive--couldn't they have guessed this would sell out pretty quick? Wouldn't they make more money by pressing more all at once, and also make fans happy? Just doesn't make much sense to me. Travis?

seriously, /250? I feel like people are going to have the highest demand for something that relatively matches the color art (i.e., not red), and they press a unique, matching color /250 when copies of this are selling at these high prices nowadays. Even the total press of /1000 seems low considering what it's selling for.

Yes, I used to love hot topic. It was once the highlight of my trip to the mall. Now, RIP. But I def. appreciate the vinyl they put up online.
