  1. This is a very solid record, the live show was solid too, even though the one I saw in Chicago was very poorly attended, which is a shame. My only complaint is the name "Vista Chino" sounds more like a coffee drink than a rock band.
  2. I picked up "The Evil One", it looks/sounds great. I'll definitely be grabbing the other 2 as soon as the budget allows it.
  3. Originals can go for $500+, so a boot is probably the only way you're going to own this record. I'm guessing the "Nasco" reissue is actually a Scorpio pressing, which are generally cheap and lousy quality.
  4. If anyone missed the Napalm Death split and needs one, I have an extra to trade for either a Fucked Up split or a Venom covers 7".
  5. I'm not a Cut Copy fan, but is was still really cool to see these being made. I'd like to see something like this at Pitchfork again.
  6. Got mine too, also on blue. Played this thing 5 times already, worth the 16 year wait, great album!
  7. I can't wait! I've got the 90s boot of Livin In the 80s, but i'll be getting the new 7" and checking out the Chicago show for sure!
  8. I have high hopes. I really like the tracks i've heard so far.
  9. The Oblivians new LP is up for preorder now from In The Red, first 200 on color vinyl! http://intheredrecords.com/pages/order-us.html
  10. Looks like there are a bunch of versions, some kind of pricey - http://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch.php?searchtext=hendrix+alive&x=-830&y=-247
  11. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killed_by_Death_(albums) 1 through 4 are essential listening, after that there's as much crap as there is gold
  12. Picked up a Mackie version of Freak Puke at the Chicago show. The show was excellent and they had lots of vinyl- the new 10"s ($35), the Hammerhead split 7" picture discs ($20), vols. 5 & 6 of the Sugar Daddy split 12"s, and of course the Freak Puke LP ($40). Wish i'd brought more cash, would love to have picked up vol 5 & 6 of the split 12"s.
