  3. ive never had any valuable scores, but did find a handful of simon & garfunkle records, and some random classic comedy albums.. altho one of my friends recently scored an original Downward Spiral, and one of the later rarer NIN records at a thrift store. and this weekend a friend had the best score... Steve Martin - King Tut 7"
  4. ive gotten 3 offers in the first two hours the beatles records been up.. the highest being $250 so far
  5. this is one of the rarest Beatles records out there... this is a lower grade copy... but still a super hard one to come by http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Beatles-introducing-the-Beatles-vinyl-LP-1st-state-ad-back-Vee-Jay-/231349755181?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item35dd851d2d
  6. yeah normally I wouldn't spam the main page... but I think this one will be entertaining for everyone involved. also looking on popsyke... brand new fans are insane... a copy of YFW went for over 800? that's crazytalk
  7. If people were offering to act as craigslist prostitutes for concert tickets, how much does this go for? http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-YOUR-FAVORITE-WEAPON-original-iodine-records-test-press-vinyl-EMO-/331335543371?
  8. you realize that OOP has nothing to do with it being commercially available right? it has to do with whether the label is still pressing more copies or not.
  9. hate to break it to you, Rob Dobi has been doing silhouettes with words over them for our little scene for about 15 years now.. and was working with Thursday, coheed, fall out boy, and other huge bands doing it... its a pretty common methodology
  10. hopefully more of their titles, just have to see how this one does.
  11. They Might Be Giants - Flood Fishbone - Truth and Soul Dead Milkmen - Big Lizard in My Backyard pretty much 3 of my all time favorite records.
  12. They Might Be Giants - Flood Fishbone - Truth and Soul Dead Milkmen - Big Lizard in My Backyard pretty much 3 of my all time favorite records.
  13. previously only available as a pricey import, this is easily one of the best ska/reggae records of the last decade, and we're totally stoked to bring it to the US. The Skints are a four piece ska/reggae/dub/hip hop act from the UK who are already taking Europe by storm.. and if you do a quick perusal over social media you'll see tons of love for this band from Nofx, Less than Jake, and Kevin Lyman... so we expect them to come across the pond and wreck shit pretty soon. grab a copy while you can! www.asbestosrecords.bigcartel.com available on red or blue vinyl!
  14. if you're missing any of the franz Nicolay split I might be able to dig them up, or test pressings
  15. Brand New - Your Favorite Weapon (iodine pressing)
  16. this fall! They Might Be Giants - Flood LP Fishbone - Truth and Soul LP Fishbone - Intrinsically Intertwined EP (with Bside etching!) ***soon to be announced reissue!!*** The Skints - Part and Parcel LP Survay Says - Observations on the Human Condition LP The Snails - Songs from the Hydrogren Jukebox LP Sum 41 - All Killer No Filler LP (repressing)
  17. for a couple years I was dating a girl who lived in Virginia beach/Richmond and we managed to see each other at least once a month (about 7 hours each way travel time) At the time it worked out great, we talked every day on the phone/aol but we both still had time to deal with everything else in our lives. And I used to tour a lot more early in my relationship with my wife, the longest being 3 months away from each other.. I was ok with it then, I don't think I could do it these days tho.
  18. yeah its gonna be interesting.. its not perfect... but then who could afford a perfect one
  19. Yer killing me Jacob... I got 12 releases I need to pay for... gonna be doing a lot of ebaying in the coming weeks
  20. A family member asked me to sell this for them: Super super rare Beatles record.. according to the price guides.. in mint this goes for around $8,000. this is a lower grade copy.. the jacket has a split seem on the bottom, as well as the owners last name on the top of the jacket. Vinyl itself has a couple large scratches on one side, and the owners name written on the label. That being said.. this is the copy with the original track listing before two tracks were swapped due to the label being sued for using tracks it had not licensed. A perfect copy of this super rare record for the collector on a budget, or to fill the spot till you can afford a nicer copy. Taking offers before it goes on ebay.
  21. here ya go kids.. the ultimate white whale for any Brand New fan... given when it was pressed, there's probably only 4-5 of these in existence. It's probably going to end up on ebay, but i'd be willing to entertain offers here first if anyone would like to make one.
  22. damn it looks like swaptree.com isn't up anymore... that site was a way better alternative.. you listed dvds, cds, books, and video games you didn't want, and then made a list of all the crap you did want.. and it would set up 2 and 3 way trades... the caveat being you were supposed to accept any trade offered.. so sometimes youd trade a cd for a video game or vice versa.. and all you paid for was shipping... I scored a ton of great books and games trading off old cds and dvds
