  2. so yeah, i have an OG copy of this killer band's demo tape. message me here and make offers. this is a piece of screamo history! go big or go home!
  3. just listed a bunch more shit on discogs. if you see something you like, message me here and we can work out a deal outside of discogs. thanks for the interest! http://www.discogs.com/seller/jrodan
  4. You can't do that, dummy. What makes you think its ok to enjoy music someone else made without paying them? You're a dick.
  5. You're coming off more than silly by asserting that everyone should agree with your point of view. This is the internet man, everyone is going to have opinions and very seldom will you be able to change them by rehashing old arguments that took place 1000-fold less than 24 hours ago. At the end of the day these are just distros and not record labels, people who essentially flip records for a living, so inherently there's probably going to be some shadiness on both sides. The facts that we are going to have are out, and everyone has come to their own conclusion. Deal with it, and put it to rest. I myself have received damaged records from IVWT and had to wait over a month for an order I placed at SRC, so really neither is spectacular if you ask me (that's not speaking toward both distro's very good and wide selection of titles) distros are now flippers? you lost me now dude. that may be the silliest thing written in this thread so far. have you seen the prices on IVWT? if you consider any of them to be anywhere near "flipping" capacity, then i dont know what to tell you. and you received damaged records from IVWT? did you contact them? they have always fixed these things when they have happened. Brian hates when it happens and always makes sure to remedy the situation when it happens. i hate that i have to explain this shit you folks, and that Brian cant do it himself, but that is the situation right now due to him unfairly being unable to speak his peace himself.
  6. I never said Brian's story changed or anything. When have I said anything in regards to saying him or SRC were/are full of shit as to what happened? You can believe what you want and take what each person has said as truth...I don't at this point. Simple as that. Yes, both SRC and Brian have spoken their pieces as to what happened. I choose not to believe either side. I feel there probably a lot more to it than just what we have been told. As for trying to shit-talk about my "working" for SRC...I've been modding this board way before it was even in their hands and they took over VC from Virgil. And to be working for them, there would be some sort of monetary and compensatory portion to it...which there is not. I am not getting "paid" to do this. what im saying is, you are putting both distros in the same boat of people who are not revealing all there is to reveal. this blows my mind, as SRC has given plenty of reason outside of this situation for people to believe they arent upfront about things (preorders for records they didnt put out and the labels themselves havent started preorders for, backing MTS, having in stock records listed and then no sending out orders) whereas IVWT has never given any reason for anyone to feel they arent up front and honest. how can they both be making you believe they arent telling the full truth? you do a fine job modding, and im not attacking that. im just saying you are coming off pretty silly by placing both distros under the same tent, when its clear one has a history of shadiness and the other has a history of unparalleled customer service.
  7. since you didnt quote im not totally sure if this was in regards to me or not, but if it was...i dont even have words.
  8. this annoys me. how has Brian not been fully forthcoming about what happened? i have posted his side and responses numerous times in this thread, and his story has never changed and has continued to make much more sense than the non-answers we have gotten from SRC. i realize you are working for SRC, but still wanna look impartial, but unless you can explain how Brian and IVWT has done anything that wasnt on the up and up from the moment he opened his distro to now, i think you sound like you have no reading comprehension whatsoever.
  9. not necessarily. something obviously doesn't add up though. exactly. just because we dont know exactly what the reasoning was, there was clearly something fishy afoot. and the fact that they banned Brian as opposed to finishing the transaction (which again was done using the name of someone who has already said they had nothing to do with it) screams oddity. but again, for those who want to just sit back and back a "company" that has recently shown they are in wayyyyyy over their heads and are grasping at straws, go ahead. plenty of people thought George W Bush was doing a bang up job, and plenty think Rick "frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the by-product of anal sex" would be a good president, so i dont expect everyone to use their brain.
  10. What does SRC have to gain from this "shadiness"? I am assuming a distributor takes a long time with a complicated ordering process, whereas IVWT has a 30 second checkout time (with a little more cost than the distributor). Not saying I support the IVWT banning, but I don't get why this was anything more than a regular purchase. If they are "wiping out competition" why did they buy records from him? Like "I hate the yankees so I am going to buy a ticket to their game and boo them". your point made sense up until the part where brian called and emailed to make sure everything about the order was legit (because regardless of the ease of ordering, it is unusual to get an order from a competing distro that has made a point to show disdain towards you before) and instead of explaining why they wanted the records, they chose to ban him. seemed premeditated. but feel free to believe that this was a totally normal situation where a distro orders 3 copies of a random record they have access to under a false identity. makes way more sense your way.
  11. can we get back on the topic of why an order for 3 copies of Thursday - Waiting were ordered under a false name (the name itself real, but the person ordering was not the person identified as ordering) was made by someone at SRC when they have access to the same distributor Brian does that has copies available? shadiness is shady.
  12. the information posted proves that you used fake information (the person listed has already said they did not place the order) to try and order records you could have gotten from your own distributor. you can use smoke and mirrors all you want, but the shady business rests purely in your hands. the fact that each post you make digs your hole deeper and avoids the issue entirely just perpetuates the kind of ass backward thinking that goes on at SRC. enjoy unemployment! and from Brian's mouth: First of all the number provided is not even valid. Secondly I contacted you twice concerning the order. Your repsonse was banning me (not to mention you haven't addressed banning me from seeing your shop even before all of this). If you don't want your warehouse info posted then delete it. You certainly had no problem deleting all of my posts.
  13. sucks your boss decided to drag your name through the mud. occupational hazard i reckon.
  14. Follow-up from Brian: The order did not get cancelled until after I was banned from the boards, so there is another fabrication I'll happily post screenshots of all of this.
