I gotta say, the cure pic discs sound amazing. I know that isn't the norm by any means, but they are incredibly crisp with great levels. one of the better sounding records in my collection, which came as a huge surprise to me. plus they came in a gatefold sleeve as opposed to the usual pvc sleeve that pic discs come in. was quite impressed.

again, whether it says that or not, if the release date is Friday it would beg to reason that they can't keep taking preorders up until release date. common sense was your friend in this matter. I feel for you not being able to get the record, but you had plenty of time to get something that went up for preorder in February and was billed as limited. as for shipping cost, it still came out to around $51ppd for a limited record and a book, and as I stated earlier in this thread $25 for a book and $25 for a limited lp doesn't seem worthy of complaint.

clearly they had to stop at some point prior to release date to make their order of records. they couldn't keep it up until release date or they wouldn't have known how many to press. you snoozed, and losed.

just got a response from Nick at Secretly Canadian and he said the following: "Sadly, it's looking very unlikely that there will be any additional copies. I believe the pressing ended up being around 600 copies."

got mine from bullmoose today. cancelled that importcds order cuz those fools will just hold your money forever while they "try" and secure something.

so I ended up with an extra copy of each of these. I am selling a sealed copy of each. they were expensive as hell due to importing from overseas. willing to sell separately for $50ppd in the US or you can get both for $90ppd. also down with interesting trade proposals, but cash is king.

it is possible the mp3s won't be available til the technical release date. I have had that issue with download codes before. mine doesn't show til this Friday or Saturday and I am dying to listen/read the book.
