  1. After that last show, I am going on a Nobunny live hiatus. I had to drag my ass out on a weeknight and was just generally pissed that he really didn't give a crap about the show. He barely even sang the lyrics to even one song. It was really bad and almost made me say FU to him altogether, but I have been to amazingly fun shows by him as well, so I am still onboard. Hopefully the SF show will be back to form.
  2. I ended up FINALLY joining 10c thinking I would get the red, but it doesn't sound like that's going to happen. So stupid, I should have joined to order the last live record! I've only listened to LB about half way through, but I really like it so far. I didn't really have any expectations, but I can understand if you went in hoping for something specific you leave yourself open to disappointment. I read some post, on another board, and the guy just fucking hated this record. I don't understand how a supposed fan could hate this record that much. Very strange.
  3. Thanks a lot for this! Last time I saw him it was one of the worst shows I've ever seen, wasted and couldn't get his guitar in tune, even with a tuner. Every other show has been a crazy fun party though. Looking forward to getting this record.
  4. It think it is actually the Santorum edition. http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Santorum
  5. The probability of the random lp variant falling within a particular range of values is given by the integral of this variant’s density over that range—that is, it is given by the area under the density function but above the horizontal axis and between the lowest and greatest ebay values of the range. The probability density function is nonnegative everywhere, and its integral over the entire space is equal to one colored variant of a record. Derp.
  6. Shipping notice received. Wish I waited now with all these discount codes floating around. We will see how this order goes. When I ordered the Tom Waits 3 lp bundle from Popmarket, they didn't send me the CD it was supposed to come with. I bugged them on and off for a few months and it was always "on the way". I finally forgot about it and 6 months after I bought the bundle they sent me a whole new bundle. Strange, but a-okay.
  7. The soundtrack is exactly what I hated about that movie. It was so over the top and ridiculous. I would have enjoyed that movie so much more if the soundtrack was a little more subdued. Great acting though!
  8. I'm an "older" person and I have been into Explosions since their first record was released. It's the reason I was able to buy "How Strange Innocence" at their show, when they finally released it on vinyl. I don't think they have a narrow age demographic for their fanbase. Last time I saw them was at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco and the age range was all over the place. I may have even seen some people with gray hair(uh oh)!
  9. A lot of people do. If I made more money and really wanted that record I don't think $650 is that insane. I couldn't pay that much for it and I wouldn't sell my copy for that amount either. Maybe I'm the one who is crazy.
  10. I owned none of these on vinyl, so this seemed to work out well for me. Thanks.
  11. I may give them a shot in the future. It was okay, but just went on way too long. I really hated that other band, though. Thanks for the reminder, we have cleaning ladies coming tomorrow and I better pack my poster away!
  12. Someone Grime And The Glow ME! You have it. I have money. You like money.
  13. Seriously just add it to your order. No Idea can help you out with that. Crusades is a completely underrated band. If you like the sing a long "Walk Among Us" era of the Misfits, you will like Crusades. So glad someone on the boards recommended them a while ago. Who?
  14. Got to see her Monday and it was pretty good. The opening bands, Kreachur(Sp?) and True Widow really sucked the life out of me. I was thinking I might like True Widow, but they were boring. By the time Chelsea came on I was beat and not looking forward to waking up the next morning for work. I hope to see her again and not on a weeknight. At the merch table they had the shirts on the website and both Pain and Unknown on vinyl. They also had a cool screenprinted poster that was used for the Portland, Seattle, and SF shows. I will post a pic when I can.

  16. Love Nina, but really don't like Xiu Xiu. I am scared to hear what they do to her music.
  17. Very thankful that I have this record. You can buy it from my widow when I die. It is very strange that they didn't repress this when they rereleased the CD. It seems like something that should definitely happen in the future.
