  1. She would be really smart to not make the other variants available again. That would force everyone who didn't get one to buy the available versions, and it would ensure that the next time she does these "limited and timed" sales, the amount of copies she'd sell would be even more insane. Her team always keeps us guessing, so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't follow past marketing strategies. Still hoping for some signed ones.

  2. Seems like maybe he's moved away from singing about his son. Don't know if I'm gonna bite. Really didn't like his last two.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds return with new album, ‘Wild God’.

“I hope the album has the effect on listeners that it’s had on me. It bursts out of the speaker, and I get swept up with it. It’s a complicated record, but it’s also deeply and joyously infectious. There is never a masterplan when we make a record. The records rather reflect back the emotional state of the writers and musicians who played them. Listening to this, I don’t know, it seems we’re happy.” Nick Cave

Not sure what version of the manuscript you’re talking about but if it’s the deluxe cd that isn’t up again.   That is the only version of the manuscript that was limited.

The name of this website would suggest that I am talking about the record. I seem to remember a countdown timer on the site when Manuscript version first went up. Maybe I am mistaken.

Supposedly closer to the show date a lot of seats will be “normal” price and not PJ Premium tickets. I have no idea what premium tickets means other than they’re expensive.

My plan, if I didn't get in the lottery, was to buy tickets day of or right before the show. People have reported this being a good strategy. Little stressful, especially if booking a hotel and traveling.

Almost as if all pop(ular) music is carefully constructed to do exactly this. There has never been any real emotion in Taylor's music and I think the whole "hueh hueh I r metal guy who lieks Taylor aren't I quirky?" deal was the fucking strangest happy coincidence for her and her management.

We should make showers the next quirky weird thing to fuck the man. Until they get too popular of course.

I really disliked TS until Folklore. That album really changed my opinion. This is nothing new for me. My old ass bought the Physical album by Olivia Newton-John when it first came out. I listened to that right along with my copy of Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables. Have never given a fuck about what genre I was supposed to like.

My first impression seeing that album artwork? *puke* 'God this is bound to be horrible'...

Then I listened to the single. Wow. That was great.  Was energetic. Eddie sounded great. Enjoyed the melody and song structure. Hand up - I'm not a huge PJ fan (other than their early 90's stuff), so I haven't paid attention to really anything they've put out this century. Is this a 'return to form' or in line with their recent stuff?

Honestly, I'm just peeved that I'm going to have to buy this record when it comes out and this artwork is so damn bad.

I was NOT a fan of their last album, except for one odd song. This song, to me, reveals a more powerful sound than we've not seen in a long time. I don't mind their lighter ballad stuff, I was a big fan of the Lightning Bolt album. This new song has me very excited and hopeful that we're going to get a whole album of rocking songs with heavy as hell drums. We will see...
