Me too right, and I want my superchunk record….ummm how do I get my money back?

I know you’ve all been dying to hear my 2 cents so here it goes… I’ve curbed on buying a lot of new releases and focused on grabbing 1st presses of my favorite records. Early rev stuff, first presses of some equal vision releases. I feel like I kinda hit the wall with new music and not many new hardcore bands do it for me. But I’ll find out about some old band and go after that collection like most recently Unwound and codeine, which thanks to numero isn’t too hard! The price of records hasn’t really dissuaded me from buying infact it’s encouraged me. I’m an independent contractor and we have a record player at work so I write off all my record purchases. I understand this is 100% not ok, but I don’t give a shit. And if anyone on here works for the IRS I’m just kidding.

Damn! Never heard of these guys before, real good. Went to discogs to see if i could pick up some of the back catalog, yikes!

Anyone use this or know of a better way to get alerts when specific items hit discogs? I’ve missed out on a couple rare wants lately that went for really good prices and it bums me out.

It was awesome. Best old man show I’ve been to. They had 2 stages, each band went on directly after the last one, no wait time in between each one. 4 bands, show started at 6, was over by 10. codeine blew me away soo good. They had the “import” reissues there so glad I got to grab those. Unwound was probably the best live band I’ve seen. I’m from Washington. I’ve seen mudhoney, I never got to see soundgarden, and Pearl Jam is way too pricey. I can say I’ve seen the best and it’s Unwound.

Anyone else going to the showcase in Austin tonight?

It doesn’t sound terrible, but it doesn’t sound as good as the OG version. Probably because it’s mostly white vinyl

Dope thanks for the heads up, I did see one insert it was a half sheet with just thanks on it. its weird I had 2 records come in the mail today with no inserts that kept me wondering. This one, and the lifetime “s/t” OG decaydance press had no insert

What 2 albums of hers would you recommend someone listen to first?

Seattle- singles going steady, daybreak records, silver platters has a lot of metal, jive time, easy street and sonic boom are both great too. Portland- if it’s still there I liked 2nd Ave records
