  1. Anxiously waiting for Irma in Tampa. They are predicting 65-95 mile winds, with 100-110 gusts. Really hoping it gets downgraded to a 2 by the time it gets here. Wishful thinking.  Got my records covered or moved into my closet best i could because i am a bit nervous that our old windows could get blown out/broken by debris.

"and i think he will work out if something gets damaged"

It took a month after it arrived for him to even offer me half of the order and that was after constantly pestering him. He didn't want to give me anything originally. I'd prefer to get a full refund because the packaging was horrible. I saw some other pictures of other people's package and was surprised that the records came safe to some people. You should have seen mine. it was in HORRIBLE CONDITION and you could tell it was in the shittiest mailer ever.

He stated he filed a claim with his post office to get the money back, but after 2 months I gave up and I'm taking the loss. At least I got some cash back. Just never ordering from the guy again. After those months of waiting for my full refund I told him to eat a bag a dicks, but I wouldn't take it back considering how little he was willing to help me out. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he got the full refund from his post office, kept the cash, and told me he didn't hear anything.

Wait a minute, he didn't refund you the money for those SS LPs?!?! the pictures you sent me of your package were crazy.

My package was in awful shape when it arrived and i am still shocked my records weren't damaged.  It was like they wrapped the LPs in paper and dropped them in the mail.

  3. framing the bike was too rich for my blood.

He has his cable hanging there too, I'm sure there's just no other place for him to store his bike. I've known other people who ride regularly to store their bike like that.

yeah, its the only option i had. We live in a tiny 890 sq. foot condo, no garage, and my wife's bike that was locked up under our car port got  stolen. So now my bike is stored as wall art.

  5. I had a Mazda 6 (2005) for the last 10 years. I finally got a point where i was tired of dropping money into it and in September I traded it in for a 2016 Ford Fusion SE. the new car is amazing, the best decision i have made in a long time.  The Mazda was pretty solid, but at about 100K miles i started having a lot of issues with it and battled them over the last 3-4 years.  It also didn't hold up to daily wear and tear nearly as well as my previous Toyota did.

The new Fusion has been getting about 28-29 miles per gallon in heavy rush hour traffic driving, and about 36-37 on the highway. Rearview camera is standard, and the ability to stream music through bluetooth is the best thing ever especially since my stereo hardly worked in my old car. The touch screen LCD, free year of XM, 0% interest and i honestly think it drives just as good as my buddy's Saab.

this is my first ford and i am super impressed so far.

  6. I stumbled upon this band last week and wouldn't mind owning their records.  I don't have any of them, so if you have one and are interested in selling or trading it away let me know.

    - A Rhythm in the Cages LP (preferably on orange but black vinyl is fine)

    - God, Forgive These Bastards: Songs From The Forgotten Life of Henry Turner LP (Black vinyl)

    - To Risk So Much for One Damn Meal LP (black vinyl)

    - Cold Hearted Town LP (Purple vinyl)

    thanks!

  7. tomorrow - Gaslight Anthem & Modest Mouse

    tuesday - Murder by Death

    2 weeks - Evergreen Terrance

2 weeks - Artie Lang, Bob Kelly, Jim Norton (Stand up)

    3 weeks - Teenage Bottlerocket

later one - strung out, and then i think tim barry & sam russo are playing too.

  8. Im going to be starting this process soon too.  I have a 2005 mazada 6 that has 166K miles, but is starting to go south after 9 years.  overall it was a pretty good car but did have several rounds of issues of the last few years that were pricey, and it didn't seem to hold up to wear and tear like previous cars (Civic and a Camry) and I'm not even that rough on my car.
