definitely interested!

i ordered smashing pumpkins gish from a distributor on ebay and it came warped. sent it back for replacement that also came warped. decided to cut my losses and ended up special ordering it at my local store... bought raconteurs - broken boy soldiers at a local shop that stocks a minimal amount of vinyl and opened it to find a pretty warped record. returned it and the manager was really pissy with me about it. "we don't return opened vinyl." i was finally able to convince her that it was the same thing as if i bought a cd and it skipped and that she needed to replace it for me. people who don't collect vinyl should not be allowed to manage record stores that sell vinyl.

anyone got an extra copy of this they want to hook a brother up with? i will compensate you, of course.

so thursday's five stories falling. i've seen a couple of copies of this floating around lately and have become interested. so how many were pressed of each color and what's most rare? i've seen black, clear, and i think white. bonus question: what's up with the full collapse? green? orange? and i've also seen blue.

i've been known to spend in the vicinity of $30-$40. and i'm preparing myself to drop $200ish on a copy of mellon collie and the infinite sadness.

when my room mates and i were looking at this house before we rented it, i called dibs on this bedroom because it had these shelves ideal for vinyl storage! i do, however, need to find a better place for my singles

i bought the portugal. the man waiter! release off ebay. later i noticed that vc was pressing the new minus the bear record and started frequenting the site. it was all downhill from there.

i got one of the last red/black copies from vc a couple months back and it's sexy. but the blue/red combo does match the art a bit better. great record.
