  1. I bought a copy of the 3xLP retail and have had no sound problems or issues with sleeves getting stuck. Sorry so many of you are having a bad time. The layout of this album is stunning. It's really shaping up to be my AOTY and is definitely a fav in the collection now.
  2. Daze has some GREAT songs but, as an album, I like B'lieve a lot more. This one is my new fav KV LP guys.
  3. Whaaaa? Second album was such a great progression that I have trouble listening to the first now without thinking, "how quaint." The new songs are really growing on me too. His lyrics are so good.
  4. Legit as it gets for the foreseeable future: http://www.discogs.com/My-Bloody-Valentine-Loveless/release/4899674
  5. Super cool interview with a lot of insight in to the creation of the album: http://grantland.com/features/kurt-viles-tequila-sunrise/
  6. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
  7. I'll admit it's posted in the wrong forum, but this is already being discussed here: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/115598-panasonic-bringing-back-technics-turntables/
  8. There are plenty of videos around that summarize the crazy story if you care. I've played every Metal Gear game many times and I still don't feel like I REALLY follow it. Not having played the previous games should not be a sticking point to playing the new one. Everything I read about it leads me to believe it's Kojima's masterstroke. The characters in MGS always engage me just enough to sort of care about the plot, but gameplay is really where it's at. Can't wait to pick up MGSV.
  9. I dream of this burrito, guys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a47pPdG15wo
  10. Forget what anyone else in this thread has said about burritos. If you are ever near San Diego the ONLY place to go is Lucha Libre in North Park. Get the steak and shrimp California burrito. You're welcome. I also recommend hitting up a Belching Beaver Brewery tasting room while you're in the area. Spin Records in Carlsbad is cool for the guy going there.

  12. Yeah Dave Grohl, you're looking for this thread: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/97-recent-purchases/
  13. You should be able to get very close to the correct stylus force by simply setting it up per Pro-Ject's instructions. Definitely good enough that the needle wouldn't be bouncing around due to footsteps. If you want to get precise, I recommend the Shure stylus force gauge: http://www.amazon.com/Shure-SFG-2-Stylus-Tracking-Force/dp/B00006I5SD
  14. Brad and co. always make me happy. As prolific as the frontman is, I totally agree that the best work he does is with Lockett. That being said, I'm totally a fan of all Deerhunter, Atlas Sound, and Lotus Plaza output. Very excited for this album. Single sounds good.
  15. I'll leave this here. https://viscousliquid.bandcamp.com/ No vinyl though.
  16. You guys realize he's suggesting that he can and does suck his own d, right? 5 of you liked that comment.
  17. $7.50 is a steal for that Ford & Lopatin LP. Everyone buy it right NOW.
  18. Ghostbusters reference in "That's Life, Tho" warms my heart.
  19. What's on the demos LP? Are they these songs? https://makeoutvideotape.bandcamp.com/album/some-other-ones
  20. Song is "b’lieve i’m goin down." Kinda lame since that's the first track on the on the third LP anyway.
